Amazing house!

We all fell in love with this house. It was beautifully decorated and we had so much room. The pool was great with plenty of outdoor space too. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans and utensils and we enjoyed cooking a meal or two; however they are located close to town to restaurants and Walmart, etc. We would recommend this place to stay.

Birthday weekend

We had a few issues with the house. The key didn’t work upon arrival. The pool was disgusting. The area did have about 8 inches of rain, but I still think they should have said something up front about the pool not being usable. There was no way to turn the a/c off of vacation mode which meant the house got up to 85 during the day, too hot to be inside and couldn’t use the pool to cool off either. I honestly don’t think they were ready to start renting out their house. It’s a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood but there were some kinks that definitely need worked out. When I mentioned them they apologized but that’s about it. I was hoping with all the issues they would offer some money back but not the case. We also paid extra to have two more people stay, luckily they had something come up and couldn’t make it because there wasn’t room for 8 definitely not room for 10. They should change the listing to sleeps 6. Again, once these kinks are worked out it will be a really nice vacation stay.

The house is everything it appears to be in the listing, very nice and immaculate. Check in was very easy and the homeowner is very responsive. I reached out to discuss a minor thing and it was addressed quickly! One of the three bedroom beds is actually a pullout sofa. One thing I found unusual and would advise the homeowners against is a few of their house rules. Requiring renters to strip bed linens, bath towels and put in laundry room, load the dishwasher, take out the trash are all things that should be covered in the substantial cleaning fee. This responsibility should not be on the paying customer. The backyard and pool area are very nice and we enjoyed relaxing out there. Renters should be aware that there are Ring cameras in the back of the home. Though no one would do anything wrong, cameras in the living space can feel uncomfortable.
