“We loved our stay at the Briar Barn Inn. It was a perfect stay for us and the out of town guests for our son's wedding at the Grove. The rooms were modern, spacious, clean and elegant . I loved all the gas fireplaces and beautifully decorated sitting rooms throughout the Inn. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. A simple , but delicious continental breakfast was perfect!”

“Never saw any staff so can't answer that. My only complaint about the room is that the bed is WAY too high. It was difficult for me to get on it. Honestly... if I'd known the bed was that high I might not have taken the room. I can't understand why motels have beds like that. Do they not consider that all people are not tall enough for them?”

“Staff was super friendly, room was great, they fulfilled all my our (anniversary) requests with professionalism and without hesitation. Only downside was the TV in the living room and we couldnt watch it at bedtime. Other than that it was great! Thats why we keep coming back!”

“Everything was great! I'd like to add that sound travels from upstairs in the suite to the lower level and vice versa. We had to keep the volume of the upstairs TV way down because our guest below could easily hear it. I wish there was a door or at the top of the stairs. We's still stay there again. It was very clean, pretty, & a quick walk to downtown. The staff at the desk were very friendly!”

“Stay at your own risk. I was left in the cold because my lock wouldnt work and when I went to a new room is not fully clean and someone tried to break in. See a larger hotel at a different location. ”

“We stayed in room 134. It wasn’t one of the themed rooms, but it was very modern and clean. It had everything we needed with the exception of a microwave (or at least we couldn’t fine one). That would be my only suggestion - add a microwave. Location is good. It is not downtown. Downtown is walkable, but we had one in our party that has a bad knee, so we drove into downtown and parked in a garage. As it was off season, we didn’t have a problem parking. We had a good time in Salem and would……
