Kids loved that there was a canoe they could use for the creek that runs through the property! But the location is far from restaurants, there’s only one grocery store nearby, it was a good experience though!

We stayed in the glamping tent. The tent is very spacious, with simple accommodation. The campground is clean and quiet. I think the tent is over priced, but there is no other accommodation available around the region, we had no choice.

Facilities could use upkeep. The air condition unit could not keep up and a fan was needed for bedroom of cabin. AC unit was extremely noisy which made it hard to watch tv or sleep. Limited communication with management when power was lost which caused no working toilets, water or showers. Cabin was relatively clean , bed was ok.

The room was described as a room. This was an actual trailer with no air conditioning. I got there and it was 95 inside . The toilet and shower are literally not even separated and i paid over 200$ for one night. I had to leave it was so hot. Awful. Do not recommend due to no full photos of the room and not accurately describing the toilet shower situation or the fact its an absolute oven in july.

We booked this so called resort by paying pretty high price for what we thought a cabin, but got a family tent instead, and we didn’t realize that it is actual a tent after arrival, not cabin as it described in the resort webpage. Since we were traveling to many places with a child and need table etc for our stays, so we could not stay in the tent. We ended up staying in an actual hotel (Shilo Inn, a nice hotel with free breakfast) about 25 minutes drive away with similar price. We didn’t get any refund back from resort after requesting unsuccessfully to get some refund through Expedia. Be aware what you book for. If you can manage to drive 25 minutes south, you will get plenty hotel choices. The resort area has a lot of mosquitoes. There is only a single shower to share in bathroom by all.

My experience staying at Crater Lake Resort was extremely disappointing. The advertisement for the "Panoramic Double Room, Lagoon View" was quite misleading as it was actually a capsule pod, resembling a large storage unit with a door. The "room" actually does not show up on the property map and was hand drawn when the map was handed to us on site. The pictures or description accompanying the listing did not show that this was actually a capsule pod for which we were charged the price of a nice hotel in any big city. When I pointed this out to the store desk person after checking in, they laid the blame on Expedia. The only other availability was a tent for which we had no supplies and it was too late for us to go elsewhere for the night. The worst part was the "compact toilet and shower", which was not just disappointing but downright unhygienic. When we went in to shower, all the water washed down the sides of the toilet, and stood around draining very slowly with our feet in a puddle of the water with or without slippers. No matter how thoroughly the staff cleans this WC, unless they replace the toilet set structure, this water was washing down the toilet onto our feet while we showered. This was gross. To use the toilet, we had to wipe down the water from the shower. It is unbelievable that we paid the amount we did for this "experience". We couldn't get out of there soon enough in the morning. We'd had a great day hiking at Crater Lake which ended poorly with this stay.

This property was a bit misleading…we stayed in a “glamping” tent. It just had a mattress and nothing else. It was more like “cozy rustic.” No electricity or other amenities. There was also only two bathroom stalls and one shower for the entire place. However, the creek was very pretty and the lady working the desk was friendly!

We stayed here really just to sleep (yurt) which was overall, clean, very comfy, and dog friendly! However, we unexpectedly got there 40 minutes early and could see there were no cars or sign of residency at the yurts and asked if we could check-in early so we could get going to our hike. The employee working the front desk asked us to wait until 2:45 to come back in the office to check in. We did so, and when my partner went back in to inquire, he was told that check in was at 3 and they would not accommodate. It felt very offputting and rude, and kind of put a damper on our stay. The rest of the employees that we ran into on the grounds were very nice though!!

This location was very convenient south of Crater Lake South Entrance. I realize that most of their visitors are tourists to Crater Lake NP, however, the nitpicky reminders were a bit tacky. I’m either really embarrassed that other tourists don’t have common courtesy or the staff and management are tired and impatient and don’t want to be bothered with nonsense. When you work in hospitality, it’s inevitable. The reminder upon check-in to take a photo of the room code was smart, however reminders that early check in are not available, late checkout is charged $30 hourly and another night after 2 hours, in the cabin reminder to: wash dishes before check out or you could get charged, don’t place wet dishes in cabinet or you could be charged, use towels for shoes/pets at entrance not bath towels, don’t unplug TV or you will be charged, don’t forget to tip housekeeping, don’t call after hours about internet or TV issues as they aren’t emergencies. I am sure they are important for management and staff sanity, but as a guest, the reminders could be phrased more pleasantly. It’s a nice property with a beautiful stream close by.

Nestled near Crater Lake amongst trees and mountains, this intimate resort with its individual cabins provides an outdoor living adventure within the safety and security of small clean safe cabins with every amenity needed. Canoes to paddle on the clear water creek, a walking path around it, and plenty of other distractions for the family or for a solo traveler like me. Check in at the little store, which is stocked with anything you need and staffed by very helpful people. I wish I could stay longer...
