Great family condo

Great location. Short walk to the lifts, restaurants & the spa. The ski locker on the ground level was very convenient.

Good location, but views and experience fell short

We have rented VRBOs many times in Crested Butte for skiing, and this is the first one to fall so short of expectations. The "view" is of the back of 2-3 other buildings including the dumpster areas. You have to work to find one window where you can actually see part of the mountain. When we checked in, the front door lock broke, so I lost several hours of skiing the first day waiting for the maintenance repairman (he was very responsive luckily). Dryer had a note that it was broken and new one on order - really wish we had known before we arrived so we could have packed more clothes. We rent a condo purposefully for the ability to cook and wash clothes so this was a big miss and bummed we were not informed beforehand. The second day the front door lock broke again and locked us out in the snow for a bit. The WIFI was named differently than the instructions given to us at check in and after asking about it in VRBO messaging, I got a response back to call the front desk about a day after asking. No instructions on where the ski locker was, and ski locker key was missing. Location was fairly close to skiing - about a 10 min walk to Red Lady and Silver Queen lifts. Second shower did not work. We made the best of it and enjoyed our time together but wish this had met our expectations and price tag. Front desk was responsive to most of our issues, but there is a disconnect with the rental company, Red Awning, that manages this property. We will not stay here again.
