「Had an amazing stay at stairway to Devon. Nathan and Helen are fantastic hosts from start to finish. The cabin is stunning with all the added extras that make it special. The cabin is immaculate with everything you need for your stay. I think the local cider and homemade chocolate brownies was a really nice touch. 「There was a slight issue when we checked in as the information folder containing wifi codes etc was missing. But this was quickly resolved by contacting the owners, who were friendly and responded quickly to messages. Overall the accommodation was great, spacious and very quiet. But at the same time close to local facilities and transport. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area.」

「We were a little disappointed with our stay . It was impossible to hang clothes in the wardrobe in Bedroom 1 as it was stacked high with bed linen . Also a lot of bed linen in other wardrobe . The fan in one of the bathrooms was not working resulting in a lot of condensation on the floor making it very slippery . The canisters which may have held tea and sugar were empty . The name on the lockbox has faded . On the plus side it was a great location 」

「Home from home for us. Our fourth visit and not our last. Hattie loves playing ball in the field opposite. You can walk to Totnes easily from the cottage via Dartington and a straight route takes you there in hour! Love going to Nkuku and Riverford kitchen restaurant (book well in advance) even went to see a musician in Totnes (st Mary’s church) and Ashburton hall, amazing venues.Great stay, comfy bed and all the amenities you need to cook, thank you 🙏」
