"We stayed while passing through from FL to NY. Hotel was cute and quiet. Just on the outskirts of town. We were able to rest well. I hadn't slept so well the night before and left my phone behind (while packing and tending to the kids). I was so upset, the property manager was great- he found it and had it sent back to me. He was very understanding and helpful. Will definitely stay again. "

"I was a little concerned about renting a basement unit, but this was perfect and the hosts were wonderful. The amenities, location, and view were all amazing. The apartment was clean, the rooms were a great size, the kitchen well enough equipped, the icemaker was a pleasant surprise for our day trips, the porch swing and rocking chairs were well used in the evenings. We loved it and would come back in a heartbeat. "

It is a perfect location for getting to Shenandoah National Park and JMU. We especially enjoyed sitting outside and looking at the stars. Thank you Karen for always quickly responding to our questions, and providing a relaxing stay for us to see our son’s senior music recital.."

"A beautiful treasure along the river. Disappointed I didn't get to sit down there because it was Arctic Cold. The house is beautiful and fully updated. I loved the floorplan and gives you the ability to host a full family or just stay to the first floor. I will be back."
