A place to remind ourselves to slow down and enjoy the little things. You feel so well cared for! Culburra Beach is only 250 m up the road and Callala Beach a 10 minutes drive away. Culburra Sands is perfect in every way!
A very quaint and compact beach house. It was well kitted out and only a 5 minute walking distance to the beach. Lovely safe yard for the kids and dog. Opposite a bike track into Culburra. Great place for a week or more by the beach.
Excellent stay. The house has everything you need - comfortable beds, books, board games, coffee machine, lovely bath and shower. Garden is secure for the dog.
We would definitely stay here again
We really enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage. It was perfect for our family of two adults and two older teens with a dog. The house is nicely set up and very well equiped including an incredible selection of books! It's close to the beach and bush walks.
Lovely little 50s style beach holiday house. Great spot, only 5min walk from the beach and several minute drive into town. Quiet, clean and heaps of room in the yard for pets. Thanks for having us!
We had a lovely short stay at this property, 250m from great beaches to walk our dog, short car rides to many other beaches & interesting locations. The property was spotless with everything you needed to make a comfortable stay.

Close to beach
Have stayed here before in summer. However with only one heater, the house became uncomfortable for a winter stay. An electric blanket for the beds would be great for the winter months
To many large spiders and the sandwich press was in a filthy state when we got there smelled bad.
But other then that the stay was great and the walk to amenities was very close which we liked

Disliked: Check-in
Could be improved
Tired but adequate, owners junk in cupboards no hanging space,no blankets in main bed, checkin 4 should be 2,lots of unnecessary emails that didn’t apply to me,tv remote taped up not working, outdoor area dirty, grass uncut
When you first enter this beautiful cute cottage you notice how homely it feels and that the intention of making you feel like home away from home hits the spot.
At night sit in the family room and listen to the waves in the background while having a chat and discussing the days events at the beach! Culburra Beach is a piece of heaven! At night head out back and fire up the BBQ while you regale stories of the day and watch fur babies or children run around the beautiful backyard! In the morning sit outside and listen to the myriad of Australian birds singing.
You want for nothing in this beautiful home and we will definitely be visiting again and again! Tanya

I will definitely not be back.
I have rented many properties in Culburra Beach and this one was probably the worst. The house, albeit tidy, was not clean. The flyscreens and front door were full of dust so once opened filled the house with black dirt. The property is old and pokey. The bath was filthy and it somehow filled with mosquitoes and moths even though the house had screens they did not close property. The outdoor setting was dirty as was the concrete paving. It had not been swept. The garden though full of trees and shrubs were overgrown and messy with long weeds and lots of dead tree branches. Neglect!
The fear of snakes hiding in the garden rumble would certainly not be compatible with young children. Also, this property is on a very busy road. Horrible.
dangerous barberque covid or eccoli just wiped out should have been sent to tip dead lizard filth left for weeks from owner dead lizzard full of big maggots disgusting shame made us vomit no iron dangerous unsafe electric swith in kitchen oh great electacute us not good enough the worst holiday experience in my life no excuses refund thank you christine aquilina
This is a very well set up property with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Great location.

Quintessential holiday house, walking distance to beach and other water attractions
Cute, traditional beach house located in a great spot, only moments from the beach and short drive to town for supplies.
Relaxed atmosphere and plenty of reading for quiet moments, making any stay enjoyable.
Loved staying at this 50's beach Cottage. Original 50's character with modern updates and retro/contemporary styling made it just my thing. Stayed over weekend with my 14yr old son and some of his friends. The double bunk room suited them well with easy walk to beach, table tennis setup, TV with selection of DVDs, wifi and updated well equipped kitchen for them to cook together kept them happy. I loved the comfy queen room with TV and lovely old fashioned lush garden. Will be back for sure!
This place would be gorgeous in summer. The house has a good layout and has everything you need. The gardens are gorgeous (hammocks!) and there were scooters and boogy boards and a ping pong table and lots of games and books. If you stay in winter I’d recommend bringing lots of warm things because like many coast houses it’s not really built for cold weather. It was very cold and the windows in multiple rooms were prone to blowing open in the wind which didn’t help with the temperature. Booking through Stayz but they also have a separate company property manager which meant a few tiresome extra steps, filling multiple things out after already booking and paying and being required to give credit card to multiple parties which I don’t really like (sort of eliminates the benefit of using a site like this). Ungenerous checkin/checkout times (partially, I appreciate, because of covid, but 4pm checkin in winter means it’s not far off being dark before you get there!) made it a pretty expensive price for effectively one day - may be better value over a longer period. Still, we very much liked the house and for a longer stay and in better weather I think it would be delightful.
If you're looking for a lovely slow and restorative break, this house is a wonderful choice. We loved being so close to the beach for early morning and dusk walks, the local fresh seafood (especially oysters) is delicious, there are plenty of bush walks around and delicious restaurants in the surrounding area. The house was great! One of our party wanted some more heaters available in the house (we stayed in winter and they feel the cold easily) but that's the only constructive feedback I can offer :) Thanks for having us.

Beautiful homey cottage
Our stay here was perfect. The kids enjoyed the toys and scooter that was available there to use and I loved the choice of books to read. It was such a relaxing holiday.
My only complaint is that the lounge choice could've been more comfortable.
I'd definitely be back with our family and dog!

Retro beach house
We loved our stay at this character filled 1950s beach house - comfortable if not luxurious - and very good value for the price. Nice sunny garden and easy walk to beautiful beach and other attractions. Books and games for kids and grown ups kept us all happy when not at the beach.

Perfect beach getaway
Very well presented, clean, and functional cottage. Great location, the garden was perfect for our dog. Only down side was that it got very cold inside the cottage, could do with a large heating unit. Overall would highly recommend

A lovely place for a relaxing stay
We had a wonderful time in this lovely house. Only a short walk from the beach and five minutes into town it's a lovely house to relax in. It's got a lovely kitchen and I cooked up some excellent holiday food on the BBQ. It's got a wonderful garden and my dog had a lovely time exploring in it.
I will be back soon!
