「Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good food at the bar/dining room. All very comfortable. Downsides -no fridge in room. Could do with a nice painting in the bedroom. No safe in the room. Horrible brown Formica style furniture. I think a hotel of this quality could enhance the bedroom decor. However, all in all, a very good stay. 」

「This is a lovely hotel with really friendly staff who made us very welcome during our stay. It is an older building, which has its pros and cons - quirky and full of character, though the bathroom area in our room was on the small side. The location is lovely, very close to the waterfront with good views, but the town and its amenities are on the other side of quite a long bridge. Would recommend overall.」

「Nice and cosy, lovely meals and dessert at the bar. Parking at hotel. There is a small lay-by before the hotel on merchants quay as well as parking opposite by riverbank in order to drop off luggage. Parking instructions is at reception. The parking building is 3 streets behind the hotel called the Glen Car park. Take a ticket and it is validated when you leave so free parking. Only a 5 minute walk to hotel. When leaving take validated ticket to car park and bring car back to layby or opposite...
