「Nice quiet get away! Location was easy to find and kept clean. Unfortunately no hand soap which was an inconvenience till we brought our own. Bathroom could have been cleaned a little better. Over all nice relaxing place with friendly horses. Will return in the near future.」

「Loved our stay at The Black Cockatoo. We felt quite secluded, despite being a 5 minute walk from the small town ( pub, cafe, shops) Our room was really spacious with a fully equipped kitchenette, very comfy bed and everything was lovely and clean. Our host Sue was really great giving us a lot of info about the local area. 」

「A great 3 night stay. The retreat is well set up for adults and children alike. Various activities are available for children as well as play equipment for them. A very well maintained property in a quiet location. I would highly recommend Nannup Bush Retreat for a couple or family stay.」

「My husband and loved our stay, great to unplug and be with nature. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. There is a great winery right across the road, and Nannup town center is only 13mins away. Fantasic location, we will be back.」

「My time at Roebank on the River Cottage was a peaceful getaway. Julie was so kind to offer to let me come back after my trip got cut short due to work. The rugged beauty of the landscape with the river so close created a tranquil atmosphere. Chilling on the upstairs balcony felt like staring at a beautiful painting because of the view. 「We stayed at Luke and Kes’s little hobby farm and it was a slice of heaven. Luke is amazing with knowledge of the local area and has a great sense of humour. He is very helpful too. Feeding the animals and learning about them was incredible. The accommodation was so clean and well appointed. The mattresses were quite hard so if you have a back issue maybe consider a mattress topper. We felt like we had been there for ages after only a short stay. Definitely a piece of paradise.」
