Shearers Cottage at Curraweela Farm

It is a charming 100-year-old country cottage with pasture views and beautiful sunsets.
Cute as a button, you'll wake up surrounded by wildlife, It has beautiful slate floors, and an original Metters Stove and in winter you can stay cosy and warm by the fire or enjoy a fire pit outside star gazing! In summer you can take a 5-minute drive to the Abercrombie River for a swim, visit Wombeyan Caves or head into the pubs and antique shops.
A Separate 2 x bedroom cottage with (separate booking - Blue Slate Cottage) plus camping is available for larger bookings on the property. Send a message if you have a larger group :)

A lovely little cottage in a beautiful location. Owners were so lovely and friendly. We all had a lovely time perfect place to relax and enjoy Christmas in July. We even saw an emu on the property!

Paula and Jamie were so lovely and helpful. They upgraded us to Blue Slate Cottage as we wanted to cook more. They gave us fresh eggs and herbs from the chook pen and garden. Both cottages were were delightful with good facilities and plenty of firewood. There were lots of kangaroos, deer, goats, ducks and an emu on the property. The property is an easy drive Wombeyan Caves and Taralga. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace and quiet an extra day

Fabulous Farmstay!

Wonderful farmstay at Paula's place! The cottage is a real getaway from the hustle and bustle of Sydney life! Incredibly peaceful and beautiful space. Paula is an amazingly helpful host and made our stay really enjoyable. Plenty to do...the cottage is perfectly situated to visit Wombeyan Caves, Taralga Wildlife Park and gorgeous surrounding villages or simply sit on the deck, enjoying the open pit fire and amazing views!! Thank you Paula and Jamie for a very relaxing weekend away! We'll be back!
