Tacoma Cushman Trail Hotels

"I booked the hotel and then canceled it. I called the front desk for the cancellation and they told me that they would cancel and refund with a penalty. Half month later, I noticed that I did not receive the refund. I called them and contacted Expedia. But, very surprisingly they said they would not refund anything. I explained again and again what happened and what the hotel had told me before. Finally they said "

"This rental went far beyond my expectations. If I had to put a quantifier on it, the rental surpassed by a wide margin any other stay that I’ve rented on VRBO and every other app used.The host was very welcoming and made it a point to check in every now and then to make sure I had everything I needed. Cleanliness - 5 star. Amenities (laundry, fridge, kitchen dishes/pots/pans/etc) - 5 star. Friendliness - 5 star. Experience - 5 star. You get your own portion of driveway as well (if you rent a car). Being on the lake, the view also was quite breathtaking. I stayed for 11 days and thankfully there were a couple of clear days at the end of my stay to get a clear shot / view of Mt Rainier from the backyard.The reason for my stay was for medical purposes at The Hangar Clinic. One time I needed some assistance down the stairs due to hardship and the host was cordial enough to help out immediately no questions asked.If I’m ever in the area again, I will certainly look up if this unit is available at that time. There is honestly nothing bad I can mention about this unit or the host either. Perfect spot. Perfect size. Perfect loaded apartment. Ideal host. Complete A package."

"My sweetheart and I take turns doing surprise get aways for each other. It was her turn to do one. Imagine my surprise when she pulled up dockside to a group of boats. I was completely puzzled. Then she informed me that we would be staying on one. We boarded the Lila F. and were astonished at how beautiful the boat is. It is parked in Gig Harbor, a wonderful small city near Tacoma, Washington. The boat was meticulous, stocked with lots of treats and fun information about the boat. We loved reading the history of the building/refurbishing of the boat. It was so much fun to sit in the Captain’s chair and imagine being off on the high seas. The good news was that there weren’t any rough waters to contend with. The sleeping quarters was so comfortable. Lovely furnishings. Two bathrooms was really nice. We ate at the Italian place Il Lucano within walking distance, and at the Mexican place El Pueblito. Both were fabulous. And do not miss breakfast at the Devoted Kiss Cafe. Having a beer next door on the deck of Seven Seas with a glorious view of Mount Rainier was the topper. This will not be our last time there. Gig Harbor has lots of lovely parks for walking and strolling to shop was unbeatable. Extremely reasonable price for the boat since you are buying an adventure, not just a place to stay."
