Welcome to the Black Hills of South Dakota!

Established in 2016, (formerly PAMS Getaways) Frenchy's Hideaways is a locally owned campground that provides guests the perfect environment to explore, rest & relax. We strive to provide great rates to allow you to get the most out of your Black Hills experience!

Located 2 miles south of Custer along US Hwy 385, we are at the heart of the southern Black Hills greatest attractions. Wind Cave National Park (18 miles) to the south, Custer State Park (9 miles) to the east, Jewel Cave National Monument (15 miles) to the west, along with Mt. Rushmore National Monument (23 miles) and Crazy Horse Memorial (9 miles) to our north!

Cute cabin, perfect size for us. Owners were very nice. Great location to Custer State Park, Needles, Crazy Horse, Hill City etc. We brought our UTV and were able to park it on our trailer. Would rent again!

The cabin was clean and as advertised. It has so much packed into its small size. My kids loved the bunk bed. It was a great value stay. The biggest draw back is the location. It is in a very industrial feeling area. It is in a shared site with multiple cabins and a lot of RVs. One of the nights we were there music was playing loudly late at night. Again, a great value for the price, but not an ideal location.

Cute cabin inside, responsive on site property manager, but needs some tlc outdoors. Flower pot full of weeds on the deck is the first thing you see, along with a broken deck chair. No small table on the deck for beverages or food. Otherwise, inside was nice. Could use some nicer dishes and glasses. Tv didn't work..property manager offered to replace it but I said no... just wanted quiet time and not someone in there working. Just mason jars and small plates, some chipped. It's in an RV park, so not scenic, but if you like to have people around it's great.

We had a great stay, excellent hosts, and clean cabin! Would stay again! Only gave three starts for location because on neighboring property there's industrial tanks with hazardous products. Something the hosts have no control over; but they're there.We've stayed at many VBROS/Air B n Bs; this place is top notch!!!

More than cozy cabin and it was so clean! My friend and I were just staying the night without our dogs before we went over to Custer State Park. Not only is the cabin a great place to stay for one or more nights, but it's also in a really convenient location if you want to sightsee around the area. We would definitely come again!

South Dakota Trip

We stayed at Frenchy’s Hideaways in the Black Hills. It is a perfect location for visiting Mount Rushmore, Custer Stare Park, Sylvan Lake, Crazy Horse, and the Needles Hwy. Such a beautiful area! The cabin was perfect for my husband, dog and myself. With a full kitchen, we weren’t forced to eat out every day and had more time to explore the area. The location was perfect as a central spot for us be able to visit the areas we were hoping to see.

I never got an email with a code for the door. I went to the door of the house behind the sign twice. Ringing the doorbell numerous times but only a couple of small yapping responded. Finally I went to cabin #1 and a very nice gentleman told me what my code might be. Never saw Paul
