New Modern Home on Sylvan Lake Road

Modern architecture home with 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Three miles to Sylvan Lake and Custer State Park. This is the closest home to Sylvan Lake for rent and no gravel roads to negotiate. The house is 3 miles from the town of Custer and is on 2 acres backed by forest service. The home was designed by Dutchish Design out of San Francisco over a two year period. A really unique home for the Black Hills.
The home has concrete floors throughout and summertime overnight lows in the 50’s F so I did not have air conditioning installed. Open the windows at night to allow the cool air in and shut them during the day and all should be good!

Gorgeous setting

Beautiful, architectural design. Located down the road from gorgeous Sylvan Lake. Home is in an idyllic setting. All of the amenities are superb.

Great location!

This house was very conveniently located to all the activities we did while visiting the area. The house is clean, modern and has all the amenities you'd need. We hope to stay again!

Incredible place!

WOW WOW WOW. I cannot express enough how amazing this house and its location is. My family and I drove cross country and back last summer, as well as this summer, and this is one of our favorite all-time houses. The owner clearly put his heart into the design and construction of the property, and location is the best SD has to offer. We saw countless buffalo from our kitchen and backyard, and we were close to everything we wanted to see.

This home is in a great central location for visiting the local attractions. The kitchen had all you needed to prepare a meal. Very clean. Comfortable beds. The owner, Luke, is great.

Location, location, location

This house was literally perfect in every way for family vacation with 2 adults and 2 teen boys. Super clean and modern home in the most central location. 8 minutes to downtown food, Custer State Park and Sylvan Lake. Host was so accommodating and communicated quickly and clearly. We can’t wait to go back!!!
