Secluded Setting On French Creek In The Southern Black Hills
10/10 Excellent
"This property exceeded all our expectations! When looking for somewhere to stay we wanted a place that was more secluded that would also be within distance of all of the places we wanted to visit. This property was beautiful and offered incredible views of the southern Black Hills. We enjoyed the pretty view of the stream and getting to see the deer and rabbits in the yard each day! We visited the Badlands, Rapid City, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Wall Drug, and Deadwood. The location was perfect for us and made it easy for us to get to go to all of our desired destinations! The check-in and out process was very simple and convenient with the hosts being very communicative! The house itself was very clean and felt cozy. It had wonderful kitchen space and met all of our needs. The welcome basket was a very sweet touch and we got to chat with Todd one morning who was a very kind, helpful host! Overall, our stay was great and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone considering visiting the Black Hills area! "

"We absolutely loved our stay! The property is breathtaking and location was perfect for Custer/Mt Rushmore. Communication with Joy was perfect, check-in was a breeze, the listing photos were true to the house. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of space for our family of 10 (7 adults, 3 kids). The kids loved the game room for downtime. We all loved waking up and sitting out on the deck, watching Ferdinand and Milkshake. "

"Great stay, beautiful property, very clean. We are runners and gravel cyclists and loved the area for that. We played games in the big yard and had a few outdoor fires in the fire pit. "
"This cabin was perfect for our family trip. It was quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to the city center. We received great communication about our stay. We enjoyed using the hot tub on the property and everything was greatly organized and stocked for our stay. "
Pondside Lodge: Hottub + Sauna + Firepit + Game Room
10/10 Excellent
"This little cabin was perfect for our family of 6. It was very clean and comfortable. We cooked most of our food in the well stocked kitchen. The game room was a huge hit for the kids and the serenity of the pond was a win for the grown ups! Everything was super! Loved the location too! So easy to get to all the good places. "
"We liked the location. It was nice being in the country, yet close to main road leading to multiple towns and Custer state park. We hosted our kids for a few meals and it worked well. Had basic cooking supplies, a grill, etc. We would recomnend"
