「Staff is amazing」

「It was one of the most beautiful places I stayed at in Costa Rica! Mine was a patio room looking right at the mountain with lush gardens right in front of the patio. If I ever decide to visit Costa Rica again, Arenal Observatory Lodge will be my first choice to stay in that area! I highly recommend this Lodge to anyone planning to visit Arenal Volcano at Costa Rica.」

「Property was beautiful and very well manicured! Our room had a view of the volcano. The extra security of the property was nice. Close to town and many things to do. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Very peaceful and relaxing stay. 」

「Sehr große, saubere Zimmer in Bungalows mit Terrasse. Schöner Pool und Garten. Die kleine Straße ist erstaunlich viel befahren und entsprechend war es in der Nacht nicht so ruhig wie erwartet. Die beschriebenen Trails auf dem Gelände sind etwas enttäuschend. Das Abendessen vom Büffet ist einfach aber geschmacklich ok. Frühstück auch sehr einfach.」

「Absolutely stunning property in the middle of the forest! This location is a must. You are surrounded by nature and all you hear day and night is the rushing of the river. Every single staff member there was very friendly and helpful. Cabins are spacious and include a kitchenette in them. Day activities were easy to schedule. Ziplining was fantastic here, highly recommended!」

「We felt in love with this place. Jorge the son of the house is very helpful and he likes to share with his guests, he is an excellent English speaker. We enjoyed the pool (natural spring water) and the view. The breakfast is very traditional and good quality. We thanks to whole family for this experience. We also had the occasion to have diner at the restaurant runned by the daughter of the family. The meat is home smoked. 」

「Im Prinzip ist die Lodge super, abseits von allem, mitten in der Natur und die Affen ziehen direkt am Balkon vorbei, um im nächsten Baum zu essen. Die Lodge hat Frühstück inklusiv. So, das bedeutet, für den Rest der Verpflegung ist man selbst verantwortlich oder nutzt das Restaurant der Lodge. Leider haben die Zimmer aber noch nicht mal einen Kühlschrank, daher ist Selbstversorgung eher schlecht. Und die Preise der Lodge für Essen und Trinken sind unverschämt. 「This property was amazing once we found it. It is very hard to find as it is in a neighborhood behind houses, but don't let that discourage you. Im telling you how to get there so you can experience the magic. There is a small grass driveway between houses that leads into the jungle. 「Our room overlooked the river. We had fireflys at night, chamelions in the day and real peace and quiet. There is everythng you could need pools fed by the river, trails through the grounds, kitchens barbeques all in good condition. Easy to get to on a good road and close enough to town. 」
