Avoid this hotel if you value security, cleanliness, or even basic functionality. I stayed June 26–29, 2025, and had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve encountered. At check-in, I was given keys to a room that was already occupied. When I returned to the front desk, a staff member walked with me and opened the door — revealing another guest’s belongings throughout the room.
I was reassigned, but the problems continued. The key cards failed multiple times. The phone in the room didn’t work, and the hallway phone by the elevator was also dead — so every issue required walking all the way back to the front desk. The bed linens in the room were stained. When I asked for clean ones, I was handed an incomplete set and told to change them myself. The ironing board was broken.
After my stay, I contacted Sonesta with a detailed summary of the issues. Despite everything, they refused even a partial refund, hiding behind a non-refundable booking policy — a clause meant for cancellations, not for total service failure. Expedia intervened but could only offer a $40 credit.
This property fails on nearly every level: security, cleanliness, guest support, and accountability. I will never return, and I strongly encourage others to stay elsewhere.
