The room was clean, the staff was helpful and professional. The location is iffy, with road access taking some skill. Much of that is unavoidable, the area is in a massive road project and a busy area at best. Parking was adequate, Hot water was great, very soft water too. It was disappointing that no cookware or related items were in the room, but the range, microwave and fridge all worked well. There may have been such things available , but we had some of our own and managed. it was a downer that only one device could be used for internet, but again, we managed.

Overall this property was nice and quiet with a great location. Missing some amenities that other hotels offer for close to same price. If looking for a budget hotel with and upgrade feel for a SHORT trip, then this place will work.

Safe area and more affordable than other hotels in the area, but the beds are not comfortable at all…perhaps the worst mattresses I’ve ever seen/felt. Although my room smelled really old/mildewy, the housekeeping staff earned my stars. They do a great job of keeping the building clean.

Experience at WoodSpring Suites

It was fine after I got over the missing bathroom door, and not having the two double beds I thought I would have. I believe it was newly refurbished and repainted. I appreciated that the room ran lengthwise, the window, recessed lighting, the air conditioning, comfortable bed, size of the bathroom and that it was handicap accessible. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The bed was comfy, the bathroom tile was dirty, the AC wasnt getting as cold as what thermostat read, it smelled very bad in the room, stains on blankets, only mirror in Room was in bathroom would of been nice to have one outside of the showering area. The room was very large and had large fridge & stove. Just needs to be a lot cleaner and smell better. The price for NYE night was fantastic though so i guess it all evens out.

Bullet holes in backdoor. Constant knocking by housekeepers way before checkout time. If you want rest and relaxation, go somewhere else. No coffee either.

I would not recommend this place to even an animal. It feels so good to be gone so that I can finally speak my truth. The only staff member employed here that cares is Karla. I’m unsure how everyone else even has a job because they are extremely rude and lazy. The room looks nothing like they advertise. Refrigerator was broken my entire stay. I had to teach my 7 year old how to put the chain back on the toilet in order to flush it because it kept breaking off. If you have no other choice then sure pick this place but beware that you get what you pay for.

Lackluster service and cleanliness

This was an odd stay. When I arrived just a few mins before check-in time (3pm) the young lady at the counter literally ignored me for a good 5 mins and then with an uninterested smirk on her face asked if she could help me. I mentioned I am there to check-in, she looked at the clock which read 2:58pm and said “I guess I could check you in early”. As she was starting the process without a pleasant smile on her face, her colleague came in and took over. Her colleague was much more pleasant and made the check-in process more palpable. After that rigamarole, I went up to my room. The hallway wreaked of what smelled like old carpet shampoo, pot smoke and maybe some kind of body odor. Got into my room and it was so bland with a different smell in there as well. Looked like the vinyl plank floors hadn’t been dusted/vacuumed in a while. Every surface seemed sticky. Lack of toiletries in the bathroom. Lackluster all around. Glad I had a bottle of hand sanitizer handy to undo what might have been a staph infection on my hands. I won’t be back.

The rooms are older and the hotel is used for long term stay. Usually hotels like that are not particularly pleasant but this hotel is clean, quiet and well run. I had a very comfortable stay. it's no frills but for the price it's an excellent bargin. I will stay there again if I need to go to that part of Dallas for business.

One of the worsts place, rooms are not clean, there are socks everywhere on the floor, the sheets has crumbs and stains. Floor was definitely dirty, left after 2 mins of seeing the room.
