"The one reason to stay here is it is walkable to the Catalina island boat landing if you are planning a day trip there (which is why I rated it a 2 rather than a 1) The hotel itself is very run down and poorly maintained. For example, the elevator inspection is expired, the breakfast is mostly stale and the walls in the shower were coming apart. "

"We really enjoyed our 4 nights here and we were not ready to leave. The location, view and beach were exceptional. Located in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to everything. We walked the beach and nature trail, rode the bike paths, walked to restaurants and played golf nearby. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck. The home was clean, fresh and inviting. The hosts were exceptionally responsive, welcoming and informative. Look forward to staying here again!"
