We had a 3rd level room with “obstructed” view and no balcony. It was perfect! We had a terrific, full view of the beach and pier, no balcony but the living room had comfy chairs we turned to face the window and we were warm and relaxed. The whole apartment was very comfortable and well equipped for us and our dog. The beach is right there, the train noise is minimal and pleasant. Great stay over Thanksgiving weekend!

This hotel is a small older hotel but it has cute charm. The location great, across from the beach. Room is kept up, clean and spacious. If you’re looking for a modern hotel this isn’t it but it’s still a great hotel. Several cafe’s to eat at are below the hotel at street level. Room comes with kitchen with fridge. Would stay again.

I am giving this property a 10 it’s probably very underrated, but it is the number one location in San Clemente right across from the pier. The rooms are very spacious and large and clean. The view is a 10+ unbelievable what a great value at the seahorse resort, thank you team.

Please note that trains come thru on the tracks in front of pier for one minute at a time but add character to the pier.
