We absolutely loved Daufuskie Island!! This property is in a great location and is very nice for families. The beach is beautiful and the kids can go back and forth from beach to pool. The condo is also nice and comfortable. Susan and her husband are super nice and helpful—they take very good care of you to and from the ferry! We would definitely stay here again!

Terrific Condo

The location of the condo makes this a 4* rating. The kitchen did lack several basic cooking essentials. However, the beach towels, beach chairs, and condo linens were all in great shape. The property manager, while often hard to get in touch with, provided satisfactory service to help with our needs.

Awesome place to stay

This is a beautiful place. The unit was clean, comfortable, spacious and updated. We we able to explore the island by golf cart and on foot. The beach is breathtaking and was nearly deserted for our entire stay. So relaxing (I read 3 novels)! My family and I were able to sail our own boat to the island from Savannah and dock it at the community dock. This allowed us to explore the waterways ourselves which was relaxing and enjoyable. Susan was very helpful with getting me in touch with the correct people to reserve docking space. I highly recommend this property and we will be coming back again in the future.

Low Country Au Natural

We saw so many different kinds of wildlife! From a very large alligator sunning by a pond on our drive to the condo to dolphin pods just off the beach each days, to egrets, storks, fox squirrels, and cormorants, we were surprised and delighted each day. The beach had clean, white sand with shells and a gentle slope. The condo was as described and served us very well. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen stocked. The beach chairs were a welcome addition. The pool was nice but too cold to enjoy. We found the golf cart rides to be a relaxing way to explore this small, undeveloped island. Great stay! Susan Jones was very helpful.

Beautiful condo! Gorgeous beach and ocean view! Susan Jones is awesome!

The property was beautiful, spacious, and very well kept. The beach/ocean view was gorgeous!! We never heard the neighbors, except when outside. The kitchen had everything we needed. The property manager was very friendly and informative. When we had several issues with our cart, she gave us another, and charged nothing for our cart rental due to the issues. That was so very nice of her. She was very punctual when we arrived, and when we needed to meet our boat schedule on our way out. While I wasn't impressed much with the island in general, I loved the neighborhood we stayed in, and the condo, and the beach was breathtaking. I couldn't stop looking out the windows, looking at the ocean. I recommend this property 100%.

Wonderful remote getaway

The property is in a prime location on the island directly on the ocean with a community pool. We had wonderful views of the ocean from our deck and spent most of our mornings and evenings there. The beach is not crowded at all with wonderful sand and mild waves. The Island in general is remote but has just the right blend of services (several restaurants) and venues to visit. We ate twice at the Crab Company and the RUM/Spirits tasting seemed to have regular traffic. Our property was a little dated but very family friendly. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, the bedrooms all had bathrooms, and we had plenty of room. There were plenty of games and videos for time spent in the condo. It is important to bring all the food/supplies you might need and rent a golf cart. The transportation via boat as well as on the island with Susan Jones Property management was well orchestrated and timely. I would really recommend this property and venue for people that want low key and casual relaxation without crowds and congestion.

Family of four plus two adults for a night

Wonderful stay on Dafuskie. We rented two golf carts so teen/young adult kids could go off on their own. Plenty of space in condo—it was beautiful with great floor plan and nice facilities. Packing all of our food took a little planning but very doable. Ate out and had a meal catered—all worked out. Dafuskie feels like a world away and was perfect for covid as well as desire for uncrowded beaches.
