Christmas on the beach

We had an amazing stay at this house. My entire family was able to go, so I got to spend the week with my daughters, their spouses and my grandchildren. The house had everything we needed and room for all 10 of us.

Beautiful home right on the beach!

We had a wonderful week here! The pictures represent the home well. The kitchen was well stocked with a variety of dishes, appliances, pots/pans and utensils. It was perfect for taking long walks in either direction on the beach and sitting out on the decks. We hope to return!

Been coming down to the island for years. This wasn’t our first stay in this house, nor will it be our last! We’re two family sharing a house for spring break with kids ranging from preschool to high school. This is a fantastic location, very comfortable for our group, and Kristen is really easy to communicate with. Just waiting for those 2026 dates to drop so we can book again next year!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this property. We always enjoy our time on the island and this house was perfect for us as grandparents hosting our adult children and their families. Loved the large dining table, kitchen is well appointed with a large refrigerator and a closed pantry for all of our snack storage! We also loved the covered porches and especially the sun deck. Spring Break Girls Trip

My 2 daughters, 4 granddaughters and myself thoroughly enjoyed our time on Dauphin Island in this house. There were plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. The house is beautiful and in a great location. No huge crowds. We could watch dolphins, birds and other wildlife from our balconies or from our beach. This house is clean, comfortable and a great place to unwind and enjoy sunrises, sunsets, the ocean/ gulf and time with my girls. I would stay here again and have already recommended to other people.

What a fantastic beach house!

If there's ever a perfect get-away place, this is it! The location of the house on the beach is ridiculously great, and the house itself had everything we needed for our six-day stay. The set up of a bunk room and three large king size beds/rooms was ideal for our group -- grandparents, adult kids/spouses, and Grands. Really, I can't say enough nice things about this place! Perfect House for Family Spring Break

We recently rented this property for two families of five with kids ages 5-19. The location was perfect - far enough from the road not to worry about traffic and literally steps from the beach. Enjoyed watching the kids playing on the beach or dolphins trolling while drinking a cup of coffee in the morning from the back porches. Found the house clean, spacious, and kitchen well stocked. Winter Break Best at Dauphin Island

What a fantastic way to start the new year! It was especially fun to bring my dog, introducing her to the beach and to the ocean. The home was perfect on point in every way: the colors of the paint, the higher ceilings, the comfortable beds and spaciousness all made this rental beach home comfortable and beautiful. The location is right on the beach so you stepped to the sand and just almost 10 feet away is the Gulf of Mexico! I saw so many dolphins from the deck, had great beach walks saw amazing sunsets and sunrises. What a great place to come in the winter.

The perfect spot for our small group

We’ve been coming to the island for years and stayed in a few different houses since our kids were toddlers. This year we invited another family to join us so the kids - and parents - would have friends to hang out with and share a place we really love. This house could not have been better for us! The location was terrific, the house was clean and comfortable, and Kristen was really responsive to all our questions ahead of time. We would absolutely encourage anyone to book this house- just not next year the week we want it again!

Great Girls Trip

This place was perfect for us! Lots of space! Right on the water! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and we watched the dolphins play every day! Great places to eat out or everything you need to eat in..just bring the food! The only reason I gave 4 stars on the cleanliness was because we found several dishes with stuck on food.,I think it’s because the renters are asked to wash them and put them away and not the cleaning staff..this was addressed and the owners are aware and assured that it would be taken care of. We loved this place and are already looking at planning for our trip next year!

I have to admit something. The cynical side of me thought the photos were a trick of some kind. Absolutely not! Just about 12 steps or so to the water. Excellent location, not a lot of people, neighbors were awesome, house was well taken care of. Home owner helped with a small issue and the maintenance guy was there in a few hours on a Sunday. Very relaxing trip! Such a great island with friendly and helpful people.

Family Vacation 2024

The location of this property could not have been more perfect for our family! The location of the ocean to our back deck was a dream! Plenty of toys, chairs and large seashells! Everyone slept comfortably, and we had everything we could have ever needed in the kitchen. One thing that we are not used to was being responsible for putting all dishes and towels away after being cleaned. The trash never got picked up while we were there either but the owner was quick to tell us what we can do with our trash as it wasn’t ever picked up from the stay prior to ours. No one’s fault, just an unfortunate circumstance. We had a drainage issue and the owner was able to quickly send someone out to address it. We also had trouble with the freezer door but eventually got it open. Overall we had a wonderful stay and we are looking forward to coming back!

Nice spot

House is nice and pretty spacious. Kitchen has most of what you need. Extra linens and blankets, more than enough towels. The soaker tub was awesome. It’s always a pleasant surprise when there’s a soaker tub AND enough hot water to fill it. A couple things to note: we stayed over new years week, the downstairs bedrooms get really warm, especially at night. The upstairs bedrooms (even with their own thermostat up there) were really cold. My oldest daughter and mom ended up wearing layers to bed, while I (on the first floor, and who is always cold….) Was sweating like crazy with the fan on cracking a window. Also the checkout list requires you to do a lot of your own clean up, like running load of towels and dishes and putting them away and still being out of the house by 10am. Some of the outdoor patio furniture probably needs a little update, as some of it is rusting and a couple of the cushions on the loungers were starting to come apart. Wasn’t a big deal tho.
