Located centrally in Davis , WV, easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs, and breweries. Comfortably accommodating 5 guests, it features a well-equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and is just a quick 10-minute drive to Timberline Slopes. Your gateway to adventure awaits!

A parking spot is available at the front door. There is also street parking in town, a 2 minute walk from the house. Please be aware of parking signs if/when parking in town. Plenty of restaurants, pubs, and shopping just 500 feet away!

This was such a wonderful anniversary gift from my husband for 5 nights staying at Fox Alley in Davis WV. I got there late and had to call Cam to find out exactly where the unit was since it is pretty dark there, and he immediately answered the phone and gave me directions. Being along I did feel safe and everyone was so nice. Davis is such a cute quaint town and had some great places to eat and also a coffee shop which was awesome, you can also drive to Thomas and see lots of cute shops with art, food and coffee. The only downfall was that the roads were under construction and was woken 7:15am each morning with construction sounds workdays but not on weekends. But after having breakfast and some delicious coffee I was out and about looking for the perfect shot for fall photography.Lots to do especially in the National Parks which were all open even though Washington was shut down...The unit was very clean and I did meet one of the cleaning girls who was so nice and left me some coffee packs but everything is there if you decide to cook, which i did not!! I also had the pleasure of watching a cute little reddish squirrel who would sit outside my kitchen window and eat black walnuts, very sweet. This was a wonderful place to visit and hopefully i will have my husband come with me next time!

This was the second time we’ve stayed here for a weekend while visiting family. It’s a great location, right in downtown Davis. The unit itself is small but clean and comfortable. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped, but small, so I wouldn’t want to cook anything more than a fairly basic meal in it. Although the unit sleeps 4, I think it’s ideal for 2 people and more than that would be tight (the table seats 2 for example). We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Lovely property in a small quiet town. No need to bring extra home items. It was well stocked. Close grocery store to pick up food and drink items. Blackwater Falls Park minutes away to enjoy or walk/run along town river path. Prompt response from owner with a question. Highly recommend!

Clean and comfortable

We stayed over in late April at Fox Alley A unit. It was just right for our needs. Very clean, comfortable, with all the necessities and more! Perfect location for local hiking at Black Water Falls park and Dolly Sods. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The king size bed was very comfortable and then the two twins in the second room were great for the kids. The location was excellent for exploring the Davis region. Less than a five minute walk to downtown restaurants, shops, and brewery. Five minute drive to Blackwater Falls State Park. Lots of great hiking in the area and I'm sure it's a great location for ski enthusiasts in the winter. Just be aware, the apartment is on the second floor of a two unit building. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

The property was comfortable, clean and close to a variety of great hiking spots. Within walking distance to the grocery store and several restaurants. It was a perfect location for our girl's weekend getaway.

Snow Sport Trip

We spent a lovely weekend here in order to snowboard at Timberline and check out some beautiful area sights. The place is lovely and has everything you could absolutely want and need. Owner is super responsive and wonderful! Will absolutely stay here again!

Updated and comfortable

We stayed for three nights in this house, and it was perfect for our needs. The house is small but updated and very comfortable. The location right in the heart of Davis is perfect. The living area is upstairs and the stairs are pretty steep, so it wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The only other possible drawback is that the kitchen is very small, so cooking anything more than a simple meal would be challenging. The only suggestion I would have for the host would be maybe to provide some small plates alongside the large plates. Other than that, this property is very well equipped for the size. We will definitely stay again!

This property was a cozy 2 bedroom apartment type rental. It was clean and well stocked with essentials. It does have steps to the apartment that could be a challenge for some people. The property manager was easy to contact if we needed anything.

Three nights of fun and relaxation!

We arrived for our anniversary vacation with plenty of info and were greeted by a little gift of sparkling wine for the occasion! The house is fully stocked with anything you may need and for groceries the Shop and Save is about a mile away. It smelled great when we walked in, the place is bright and cheery and Cameron even texted checking up on us to see if we needed anything. We traveled with teenagers and there were plenty of outlets to charge devices. The bed were comfortable and the shower does the job, not the pressure I’m used to. As for my husband-nice job dear! For him the bonuses were the coffee maker and Keurig, plenty of fridge space and outlets for his devices. Kids said beds were fine and my daughter liked that she could wash her laundry before going home. She buys new sweatshirt everywhere we go! Supplies were there to start the dishwasher and do your dishes everyday. Even plastic wrap or ziploc bags to wrap your food! There was also plenty to do around the area. We went hiking everyday and browsed around the towns of Thomas and Davis. Blackwater Falls State Park has a great restaurant and gift shop, that sells hoodies, and Hellbenders has great burritos and burrito bowls and also sells Tshirts! Thank you Cameron and team for the great suggestions and the comfortable stay! We also played the provided Jenga, along with some other games we brought! (Side note my son is highly allergic to cats and a little to dogs, there were no allergy problems.)

Comfortable and clean rental in a convenient location

I stayed here with my spouse and two teenagers. Everything was very clean and the place was very well stocked with essentials. The beds and couches were nice and comfortable. And you can’t beat the location - a very quick walk into town and a very quick drive to Blackwater Falls.

Great Place for a Quick Getaway

Had a wonderful trip in Davis and staying here made it all that better. The place was clean and had everything you could need including k cups for the keurig, soaps, towels, shampoo, conditioner,etc. We were very happy with our decision to stay here! The only thing, the master bedroom has a TV but it did not have cable. As someone that falls asleep to the TV every night, it was a bummer the first night, but with the hiking and activities we did, a few chapters in a book and I was out. We contacted owner and they were very quick to respond as we thought there was an issue. Again, very pleased with the home, our stay, and the amazing communication with the owners! We def want to come back again sometime!

Cozy Davis Retreat

The cozy retreat property is perfect! Location is walking distance to downtown Davis with so much to offer. The place itself has a small driveway, great amenities, blazing fast WiFi, and comfortable beds. The retreat is also within 5 minutes of Thomas and hiking trails. This is a perfect place for a weekend or weeklong getaway to explore the great small towns of WV. I high recommend staying here!
