Try to imagine a weekend of downhill skiing that does NOT require moving the car until it is time to go home. And then the opportunity presents itself. Welcome to Still of the Night! This comfortable 4 bedroom home includes a fireplace, WIFI, satellite TV and more. Upstairs there is a bonus room with a foosball table and plenty of space for the “youngsters” to hang out and away from the “old folks”. Family style meals are always a convenient and affordable option. Still of the Night provides the appliances, cook and bakeware you will need to make it all happen. In every season this cozy mountain home provides starry night skies. It is a short drive to Canaan Resort, Blackwater Falls, Davis, Thomas, Seneca Rocks & more. In the Still of the Night, shoo-doo, shooby-do!

Thanksgiving get away

Great house. We enjoyed the space to hang out with friends while the kids played up stairs. The appliances and the hot tub worked well. It had a well stocked kitchen with plenty of room to crack out a traditional thanksgiving meal.

Great house, clean and tidy; lots of amenities (mud room, hot tub, wood-burning stove), well-stocked (plenty of towels, full spice cabinet, lots of paper towels, sled, hand-warmers, etc), short uphill walk to slopes.

Slopeside retreat

The amenities and location of this house are just what we needed for our Timberline ski trip. The short walk (150m?) and easy access to Lower Salamander meant we didn't have to go into the lodge at all - we were able to get right on the slopes in the morning and easily come back to the house for breaks and lunch. The kitchen was well appointed so we didn't have to eat out, and the hot tub and foozball table were a great way to unwind and also keep kids entertained after a day of skiing.
