No room cleaning while staring,staff ok, beach view good, ac not working had to replace it, hot tub had baby’s in it with diapers on and was used like a kidded pool, had to closed for 24hour, they should be restricted to 12 and older to keep safe for guests . Still under construction guest should be aware about that.

Clean room, wasn’t busy, all rooms are ocean view. Beach in front of the maverick is never crowded compared to others, massive pool was never crowed, huge pool deck and patio, fire pit and 4 commercial BBQs to make your own meals was great. Hot tub was large and there was a kiddy pool. 5 mins from Daytona beach attractions. The rooms are good. Sometimes they may smell a little different from the previous guest. Overall the rooms are a 3.5/5. But they have been updated. Hotel seems to be booked 50/50 by families with kids and retirees. Overall our family had a great time.

2 hours to check in as room was not ready. Then both ac units didn’t work and there were clothes left in the room from previous guests that the cleaners did not remove. The resort never fixed or helped accommodate us to another room they just kept blowing me off. Staff was nice just didn’t seem to care about my room issues.

This was an amazing place to stay. I was only there for the night, but it was a great experience. Every room faces the ocean and the views from the balcony are incredible. Gigantic pool area with two hot tubs, huge fire pit and bbq’s to use if you wish.

Clean room. Kitchen was better than expected. There were pots, pans, plates, and enough utensils. Beach view was beautiful. They were remodeling so some of the elevators were kind of scary lol. But overall I have a nice experience. I would come again the prices were amazing to be that close to the beach

Great place to stay for the week. Kitchen was great and enabled us to make a few meals at home instead of go out all the time. No oven though. It was fine without it. Our fridge didn’t work and they came right up with a brand new one. Check in was great! Easy and quick. The 2nd shift desk lady was very rude multiple times on multiple days. We will be back to see the upgrades. Would be nice to have a bar by the pool. See you again!!

Most everything was nice except the floor, it was filthy! After a few minutes barefoot, had to wash our feet and wear socks for the rest of our stay. Socks were constantly sticky on the bottom. Also, many inconsiderate people slamming doors was an issue.

The room was just as pictured. The views were amazing. The property pool was heated and they have a nice hot tub. Unfortunately it had rained the entire second day we were there, and it never really heated back up before we left. But they kept the property clean and well maintained. I saw the pool guys there cleaning three times on our stay (could have been more). If I am back in Ormond beach again, I'll book with The Maverick Resort again! *One down side was ONE very unpleasant night desk lady, who worked our last evening there; when asked for assistance, she seemed irritated and bothered to have to do something. EVERYONE else was very pleasant!

This place was fully equipped for a vacation. The view was amazing—I would even say priceless. The space was very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook a full meal. They provided forks, plates, pots, and pans—you just have to bring your own food. The bed was comfortable as well. The only thing that could use improvement is the living room furniture. The couch feels outdated and could use an upgrade. Aside from that, everything else was very nice. The staff was very friendly—definitely an experience I won’t forget.

There were a lot of great things about this property and a few things I would like to see changed if I came back again. Pros: View: all the rooms have an ocean view and the balcony views were amazing! Grill: there is an amazing grilling station on the patio /pool area that was great! 4 grills, so there was always space to cook dinner. Just know you can ask the front desk for bbq accessories, they just weren’t in the room. Pool:/beach: great! Lots of Loungers and you can ask front desk for chair and umbrella for beach if you would like. Kitchenette: was nice to have full fridge/freezer, sink , microwave and stove. Loved it. Staff: was very friendly. Helpful and always ready to help when needed. Parking: Was free and abundant. Cons: Rooms: •The floors were SO dirty when we checked in. We had dirt and sand caked on our feet as we walked through. Everything else was clean, however. •Was weird to have a living room with no coffee table. This was would have been nice to have. •Our room smelled SO bad. Very strong of musty smell combined with paint? Not sure ... But it was very off putting. We stopped into someone else’s room and it didn’t smell bad, so not sure what was going on with ours. Hottub: was cold. Same temp as pool. Not sure if it was just not working , or if it every gets warm. Got calls everyday to go to a timeshare meeting. Just be aware.

Beautiful view of the ocean right from the bedroom area. We went during the freeze that came a couple months back, so we didn't get any beach time in, unfortunately... It looked beautiful. The hotel was extremely clean, no bad smell, and the room had a super cute set up with the kitchenette, living area & bedroom Check in was simple, quick and just as easy to check out. Two smart TVs were included in our room & we were able to set up our own game system. I saw a review stating they didn't have smart TVs, so I definitely wanted to include that. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful view and recent refurbishment was nice, however elevator and water problems both requiring maintenance during our stay, caused inconvenience to customers. Room wasn’t clean especially floor and baseboards. I cleaned it myself after approaching front desk staff with another question and feeling like I was being a bother. I didn’t find front desk staff friendly at all.

Beautiful ocean views!! Our room was neat and clean. It had everything we needed. The front desk staff were sufficient but could be more warm and welcoming. Overall we loved our stay and hope to come again.
