"The property is beautiful and the donkeys, cows, dogs, and cats were all so wonderful to be able to see and visit. The property owners are lovely - we got to have some good conversations with them. It’s tucked away in the country which is exactly what we wanted, but it’s only a 10 minute drive to Forestville for fishing, and 30 minutes to Lanesboro for the shops and restaurants. We had an amazing time and will definitely book here again. "

"Wonderful location! Very clean, comfortable beds and kitchen had everything we needed. Had a question and response was very quick! A little noise from upstairs neighbors but we are very light sleepers. So close to trails. Would definitely stay there again."

"Incredible property. Super clean, beautifully decorated, many thoughtful extras provided for guests. Very comfortable furnishings and temperature. Very nice sleeping arrangements with private bedrooms. Great communication with host from beginning to end. Our host gave us site seeing, restaurant and shopping tips which were excellent choices. We had a fun weekend. I would definitely recommend this property."

"This was the most amazing rental experience we have ever had. The property is breathtaking. The camper was very cleaned, decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed. We only needed to reach out to Uncle John and Rose once. They were very quick to respond and we're very accommodating. We plan to be back soon and make this place a regular place to visit."

"My granddaughter and I stayed at Boarders for a week. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, we had nothing but positive experiences. It has a country atmosphere, it's cozy, and everyone was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Boarders as a place to stay while visiting Iowa. A big shout out to Daryll who was at the front desk when we checked in and for several of the evenings when we came back to our room in the evening. Daryll was always helpful and pleasant."
