"The desk staff was ok but unavailable when trying to call. We didn't have heat the first night temps dropped to 42. Moved use the next day and only had power in the outlets on one side of the room. We had to move the microwave to the dresser to use it and Maintenance never came. Bedding had stains and had to ask for fresh linen. Mrs. Leslie was very helpful and the guys cooking breakfast were nice"

"Casa Verde was an excellent choice for our trip to Clear Lake Shores. The house was so nice and clean, with a well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, fast internet. We loved the outdoor living area with various seating options, outdoor TV and fire pit. As a couple escaping the cold weather, we used this area daily. The bikes provided allowed us to explore the island and get exercise while enjoying Clear Lake, the canals, various birds and the beautiful marina. And Casa Verde has it's own bench by the water to sit and watch boats go by. Walking or biking to the numerous restaurants so close to the property was not only convenient, but the diverse options were enjoyable. We contacted the host several times for various issues (locked out/TV issue) and got an immediate response and gracious prompt assistance. When we travel we always try to stay in a home vs hotel and we appreciated the book left by the host with the rules, where to locate items, how to check out and suggestions for entertainment. We do not have children, but there were many games, books and outdoor activities available. We have stayed in the area on prior trips, but Casa Verde provided a perfect escape in a terrific location, making us feel at home. "
