「Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

「Keepers cottage was lovely. It is absolutely ideal if you have dogs. There is a large enclosed area where your dogs can run plus there are spacious kennels if you need to go out and leave your dogs. We didnt use this as we took our dogs with us but it was great to have this option. The bedroom, toilet, shower room was downstairs and the living room was up the stairs. There was a lovely balcony leading off from the living room where you could enjoy the views, unfortunately we didnt get much use...

「Ian was very helpful given Vrbo platform comms was awful (App may be better). Had a lovely couple of days stay and excellent local dog walking and Beach a short walk too. Cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Well positioned for local coastal adventuring. Would recommend arriving in day light as the car park is not lit and access for unloading everything was not that straightforward! Otherwise a great stay.」

「The property itself was quite presentable. Although all of the doors stuck. There were lots of amenities at the property. I think a family of 4 with dogs might be a little cramped. The property is literally in the middle of nowhere, so a vehicle is a must. If the farmer had no dogs himself I would return. But the dogs howled & cried a lot because of separation & boredom. This actually upset me.The communication with the owner was very good.」

「Stayed in wheel lodge for a short 4 night stay in the Summer school holidays. Accommodation just right as a base for x 2 people and our dog. 「Bay Cottage is just right for our stays when down visiting family nearby. Easy access to the beach, canal and town centre. Parking away from the main road, and safe. Sounds of the birds waking you in the morning confirms this oasis of peace, despite the town location. Large grounds giving plenty of space to walk your dogs last thing at night. 「Room 220 was excellent. With a truly world call view of the coast, sea and Arthur’s Castle. We couldn’t fault the view. The room was lovely if a bit tired in parts but none the less what a superb location . The care and kindness we received in the bar area for drinks and then subsequently supper was excellent as we had a dog and couldn’t go into the restaurant. Reception were very Curtis for check in and departure. We hear room 113 is the one to have as fully refurbished ! 」
