Cozy Waterfront Cottage- Reel Time

Reel Time is a cozy blue waterfront cottage and will make time fly. Inside, is an open floor plan on the main floor. The main floor has one bedroom with a queen bed and one full bathroom. The living area has a recliner and a sofa that has 2 recliners built in. There is a fully functioning kitchen, a table to sit at, and an island that is great for food prep and people can sit around as well. By the kitchen and Living areas go out the French doors out to a large deck with beautiful views of the water. We also have a table out on the deck to eat and hang out at. The second-floor loft has another queen bed with bathroom, walk-in closet, and has view of the water from the large upper windows. There is a walkout basement with laundry area and a cool tv/hangout room. The cottage also has high speed wireless internet. The sofa in the tv room also pulls out to a queen bed for extra sleeping. Outside, you can loose track of time….if you have kids there is a giant sandbox that will keep them busy for hours. We have a few sand toys located in patio area for the sandbox. Kayaks and paddle boat available to enjoy on the water. We also have a pontoon boat available at an additional cost. Please ask if interested. There are a total of 4 lakes connected by channels for hours of exploring and fishing. We also have beavers and bald eagles on the lakes See if you can find their nests and dams or the trees they chop down. Back on land, after enjoying the day on the water, fire up the blackstone grill for supper. Enjoy a game of bags (corn hole) before relaxing by fire pit, gazing at the fire and the gorgeous water views while eating s’mores. We even have a outdoor hangout area for you to enjoy and a second refrigerator for beverages and/or extra food. If you are still outside as the night quiets down be prepared for the symphony from nature (bullfrogs and crickets).

If you want to venture out from the cottage there are many local activities that can be enjoyed by all. Below are just a few of them...

Local/small town shopping in Delton, Hastings, Plainwell, and others. Local restaurants and bars, Bittersweet skiing, several nature/hiking areas, historic Charleston Park, Gun Lake Casino, Gilmore Car Museum, Binder Park Zoo, and more.

We loved our stay at this charming cottage. A great spot to stay for our visit to the Gilmore Car Museum. Clean, quiet, comfortable. The hosts were very easy to work with, and quickly responded to and resolved a small issue that we had. Will definitely keep this property in mind for a stay in the future!

Nice place! Very clean and comfortable. The lake water was extremely low due to lack of rain in the area so we didn’t use the kayaks, but we really enjoyed the quiet peacefulness of the lake. All other amenities were nice including the Blackstone grill and washer & dryer. Communication with Brenda was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

Do not let the beautifulness of this property fool you from having to deal with this property owner. We left the vacation having an "ok" time despite many things happening to us: *Whole house fire alarm going off for two hours starting wvery 20 minutes then going off every 5 minutes. *empty propane tank that the owner told me that our only option was to go fill it ourselves and she would reimburse me for it (surprise I am still waiting for my refund,u8refunded

Quiet Getaway

The property was great! Super clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Pontoon was very nice, probably the nicest we’ve ever rented with a property. If you’re not catching fish, you’re not trying! The access to other lakes on the chain was a plus, but a little tricky during the low water conditions we had. Tujax Tavern has sneaky good food!

We have been coming into Delton over the past 5 years to visit family. Brenda's home is truly the best home we have ever rented, it is like brand new very tasty decorated, super clean and plenty of space. We had also rented pontoon boat for a few days and also supper clean and ran great. Brenda was always very easy to reach and always helpful. Beautiful home on very private lake

This home is very freshly renovated in a very tasteful way. It had everything we needed, and more. Brenda and Greg are excellent hosts and were attentive to any inquiries that we had. We rented the pontoon boat, which is a beautiful boat, and enjoyed transversing the Three connected lakes. The wildlife is very plentiful – my wife counted 38 species of birds. We can’t say enough good things about this VRBO and will definitely return next year.

Christmas cottage

Our daughter recently moved up to Michigan and due to her work schedule, she couldn't come home for Christmas. Therefore, we decided to bring Christmas to her. Although I was apprehensive at first about doing this. I found this cottage where someone had mentioned that it was decorated for Christmas and it was very clean. Two things that I was looking for. It did not disappoint. The home was clean, decorated for Christmas, cozy and the kitchen was wonderful for preparing our holiday meal. I would definitely go back and choose this cottage. The views of the lake and the property were an ideal setting. I'm sure it is absolutely lovely in the summer too!

Water is awful

The tap water makes the place darn near unlivable. Smells awful…and the entire house smelled when showering or running tap water. We went thru 4 cases of water a week to combat this. Owners didn’t seem too concerned. They were responsive to just about everything else.

Awesome 4th of July Vacation!

We had such a wonderful vacation! The house was super clean, modern and had everything we needed! We swam, kayaked, had campfires, watched fireworks, played cornhole and did lots of fishing from the pontoon boat! The owners were so helpful and very responsive! We would love to come stay here again!

Lakefront Cottage Christmas

We came to celebrate Christmas in Delton. Upon arrival we were delightfully surprised to enter what felt like our Christmas home. The host had decorated for Christmas with multiple Christmas trees and decorations. The cottage was clean with comfortable beds, and plenty of areas for the family to enjoy Christmas. The host responded to any questions within minutes. Highly recommend staying here. we look forward for future says here. Thank you.

Perfect Getaway

My family stayed at this cottage Mid October. The weather was rainy majority of the time but waking up in this beautiful location was a wonderful trade off. My boys especially loved downstairs and the blocks provided for play. The property was super clean, the house was absolutely gorgeous. Definitely recommend staying here!

My family and I enjoyed our stay so very much. I am a clean freak in this house, met my standard, which isn’t often. Brenda was extremely responsive when I had questions. We had so much fun on the lake in the paddle boat and kayak. The sun coming in through the window is amazing.

A pleasant stay

Great setting right on the lake. The house was clean, contemporary, and supplied with all essentials. We were able to get out and spend time in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. Despite the fall weather we had a perfect day to take kayaks out on the lake and explore. A perfect place to relax or get out and about. Brenda, the owner, was very pleasant and responsive to all our questions. A must stay.
