Immerse yourself in creative inspiration at this steampunk-infused studio retreat—complete with skylit ceilings, private gas fireplace, fenced yard, firepit, and just steps from LODO and downtown Denver.

Description: Working Artist Studio Urban Oasis in Historic Potter Highlands. Centrally located in Denver's oldest neighborhood: A private detached artist studio is plush with lots of light & sits at the rear of a large city lot behind my 1880s Victorian Cottage home.

The Space

A bright, ground-level artist’s haven designed for comfort and inspiration:

* Bedroom: Plush queen maple bed + double futon (sleeps up to 4)
* Bathroom: Stylish ¾ bath with walk-in shower
* Great Room/Kitchenette: Cozy kitchenette with induction cooktop only, dining table, gas fireplace, skylights
* Comfort: Independent mini-split heat/AC in both rooms
* Extras: Down-filled sofa and chair, teak table, room-darkening shades in the bedroom
* Connectivity: Free high-speed Wi‑Fi, keyless entry, smart TV

Second time staying here - will be back

We had stayed here a few years ago and had a good experience so when we were coming back to Denver, we quickly agreed that we wanted to stay here again. Thankfully the dates were available. Once again, it was a wonderful stay. Centrally located, ample parking for our rental, quick-to-reply host, etc. We travel a lot and this is definitely one of our top VRBO stays.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was in a quiet neighborhood, easy to find and access. Close to downtown and the ball field and the football stadium. Definitely will be staying here again when we come back to town.

Great Private Studio

The Art Studio was just as advertised and very clean. The bed slept great. It was nice to have our own private space to hangout outside by the fire pit or sit on the porch swing. Check in/out was a breeze. Will definitely consider booking again the next time we’re in the area.

Great Visit in Perfect Location

They studio was perfect and very welcoming. We slept really well (not normal for us when we are away from our pillows and mattress). Everything you could possibly need is accounted for. And the host is lovely.

This place was perfect for our stay.

The artist studio was perfect. Plenty of room for my husband and I. Great yard, lovely gardens with plenty of restaurant options nearby. But also close enough to downtown that Uber cost we’re super reasonable. Great vibe, highly recommend!

Everything you need in an amazing location

Tonia was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire stay. The studio is perfect and has everything you need for a day or a week! I'd highly recommend staying here to anyone who's looking for a quiet but convenient spot in Denver.

Charming, comfortable, and cozy.

The studio is adorable, equipped everything, and the location is awesome. The backyard is beautiful, and is perfect if you are traveling with your pup. The bed was very comfortable. There is plenty of parking and the street is quiet. We were there for nine days and enjoyed our stay very much. We already planning to book it again soon.

Very nice cottage

The cottage was very comfortable and welcoming with interesting art pieces. The yard was very large and dog friendly. The only issue was having to lug everything from the vehicle through to the back where the cottage was.

A Dream

This property was the perfect place, and I have nothing negative to say about it. Perfect cozy space inside, and a backyard of our dreams that was the best chilling spot. Tonia came over to show us how to use the gas fire pit and asked me through the app if we needed anything at all. Wonderful host, and I would definitely stay here again (longer next time!!)

Absolutely gorgeous carriage house/studio! Very comfortable and nice. The property is stunning. The hostess was kind and welcoming and very nice to work with. The location is wonderful and within quick walking distance or Uber ride of just about anything you’d want. 10/10 would recommend and would revisit!

Great art studio

Check in/out was easy. The area could not be cleaner. Host thought of everything!! (Except maybe a speaker for music). Perfect accommodation for me. Area was nice. Lots of great restaurants, shops, etc. Great totally fenced in yard also.

Pleasant stay with beautiful garden

We stayed here while we were visiting Denver for a concert, and we brought our dog along. Coming from a high-plains desert, we don't have any grass; this backyard was our pup's first time running around in grass without a tether on! She loved it so much, and it made us so happy to see her happy. The carriage house was well-kept, and I felt that we were safe, even while being centrally located in town! There's lots of cafes and restaurants to visit within walking distance, and the abundance of trees along the walk keep you cool even when it's warm outside. We spent most of our time away, but the time that we spent at the VRBO was very pleasant. Thank you for a great place to stay, it really made our trip!

This is an amazing space in a lovely, historic location.

This is truly an urban oasis. Once you walk beyond the gate into the big backyard where the studio is located you almost forget you are in a city. Great space. Very comfortable. My favorite spot was to sit under the gazebo each evening with a drink and my little pup. Looking forward to my next stay.

Artist's studio was PERFECT! Everything you need in the kitchen, comfortable couch and bed. The studio has fantastic natural light. Loved the serenity of the beautiful backyard and garden. To echo previous reviews, can't beat the location and neighborhood. Full grocery store right around the corner. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be back as soon as I can!

Awesome location and vibe!!

Tonya our host was was very responsive to the many questions I had about getting around Denver. The studio was very comfortable and plenty of room for 2 people. The patio and yard are beautiful. We sat out on the patio a couple of nights and just chilled. No bugs! We will be back!

Awesome place for pets!

We had a great stay! I rate my stays based on three things. 1. Good for pets. 2. Location. 3. Cleanliness. This place is 5 stars for all. This is such a unique place and we feel lucky to have found it. The owner is awesome and super attentive. The yard is perfect for dogs and it is a great place to walk them. It has nice landscaping so not a great place for unattended dogs, but for me it was the perfect place. The neighborhood is really neat with a ton of entertainment and dining nearby. This is a great place if you are going to a game at any of the near by sporting venues. Ball arena is like 5 mins away. I would absolutely stay here again.

Artistic, atmospheric, beautiful and clean

This is perhaps the first VRBO I've stayed in, in which the actual space and property and communication with the owner exceeded my expectations. Tonia has created an artistic haven with all the ammenities. Despite being in the middle of a snow storm, the space was well heated and cozy. I look forward to coming in the spring to see the beautiful backyard. Tonia was available to help me with a few things: an extension cord, TV set up. She is entirely comfortable to be around. I highly recommend this artistic oasis.
