Staff are very good, lots of good food places nearby. Rooms are of a good size. Only downside I noticed was that the pillows and duvet definitely need changing. The hotel location is very convenient for Derby , Nottingham and Leicester. Of course I would book again.

This was just the ticket for me - competitively priced, good location and clean place to stay whilst visiting family nearby. I would describe it as 'functional' not necessarily where you would stay as a destination but good if you need somewhere to stay en route to where you are going or attending a conference etc. Breakfast had everything you would expect.

Front of house looks quite good when you arrive, with friendly staff but everthing else from room cleanliness, to working electrics in the room, to choice and quality of breakfast, definetely needs some TLC. However, it was a good price and has free parking so, for what I needed (3 nights solo accomodation whilst helping my son do some DIY on his house) it was adequate.

The only problem was that my wife and I are in our Seventies year young, and during the cold spell early March, the room heater did not come on until 18.00pm. We were cold . We did not complain to reception because we know that the heating was timed set to come on.
