Great location & Home

Beautiful home with lots of room. Comfy beds and very clean. Loved the pool and hot tub right next door. Disappointed we couldn’t rent a golf cart bc the entire neighborhood had them including ones that were rented. TVs are small in all rooms but overall a good stay

We love Destin!

Great house and close to the beach. Love all of the room on the first floor. Was great for our big busy family with 4 high energy boys. House was clean and tidy, but has definitely been well loved and could use a little bit of updating and freshening up. Was nice being close to both the pool and the beach. This was our first stay in Destin and we will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is located in the Destiny neighborhood just down the street from the Crab Trap restaurant. The house itself sits adjacent to the amazing neighborhood pool/hot tub/weight room. From the pool, you can look 2 blocks down the street and see the beautiful beach and the Gulf of America! The house is well laid out with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms upstairs and a half bathroom downstairs. The living room/dining room/kitchen area is wide open and very conducive to family gatherings. The house is beautifully decorated and was extremely clean. This house has lots of outdoor seating on the front/side porch and the second floor wrap around deck. There is a huge backyard, which is beautifully landscaped and completely fenced. Our family of 10 spent a week in this house and it was very comfortable. Everyone agreed it was the best family vacation we’ve ever taken. We would highly recommend this house to anyone!

We had an amazing stay, and would love to stay at this rental next time we go back! Was in such a great location, right next to the beach, pool and tennis/basketball court! Instructions were layed out very plainly and made arrival and departure very easy.

Perfect in every way!

We love, love, love this property! It's in such a beautiful, luxurious part of Destin. The neighborhood was stunning. We loved being next to the pool, hot tub, and tennis court which we used everyday. It was a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. The beach and water were gorgeous! The house was large, updated, comfortable, and well equipped. I can't say enough good things about our stay! It exceeded our expectations. We will definitely rent here again.

This place needs some attention

Great location, but the pictures are not representative of the property today. It was very buggy inside. Maintenance and cleanliness were not a top priority inside or outside the property. On the positive side, it’s close to the beach and we had great weather so we were not confined to the house.

House was really nice, bathrooms are a little dated but nothing bad and not being able to turn the air down lower could be a problem in the main summer months but it was fine for April. Only complaint was the lack of essential items like dishwasher detergent, kleenex and we had no extra trash bags, but other than that we would stay again!

Happy campers - would stay again

Excellent location. Pretty property and neighborhood. We were a party of 4 and found the floor plan spacious. Bed in primary bedroom was comfortable. I wouldn't suggest more than 6 guests given that there are only 2 showers. Main floor finishes looked up-to date and pleasing to the eye. Upstairs bathrooms need up-dating. 2.5 rolls of TP not enough for 4 people for 4 days, especially because of the poor quality of the paper. Also, if running the dishwasher before departure is asked of guests, a minimum of 2 DW pods would be nice. We would stay again at this property. I'ts pretty, convenient to the beach, restaurants and nearby grocery stores and shopping. Thank you Beach Blue! two DW soap pods would be nice.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is great. The house needs to be cleaned top to bottom. Cobwebs under the barstools and light over the table. Window shades are disgusting you can write your name on them. We think you need a new cleaning crew. The upper deck is crying for your attention needs repairs and cleaned maybe some new patio furniture.(someone is going to get hurt)

May 2021 Stay

Pros: Location. Right next to the pool and just steps to the beach. The house is large and spacious. Good communication from the company and we were able to check in early. Cons: The grill is in horrendous condition and unusable. Unfortunately we had planned to grill out several times but weren’t able to. Only 2 of the 4 burners work and it was filthy. The overall condition of the home could be updated. Missing/fading paint and blemishes here and there. We also had continued issues with WiFi. This was an issue because several of our guests needed to work during business hours.

Family vacation

House was very comfortable. Plenty of room for 9 people. It was very close to the ocean and had a very nice pool right next door. It was just a short drive to many restaurants. I had read a review before that mentioned the house didn’t have a lot of outlets so they suggested to bring a power strip and I definitely appreciated the suggestion. My only complaint was the temperature of the house. The air conditioner was never able to get the house cooled down. The upstairs in the bedrooms where also warm. A few fans where provided which was a blessing but also signaled they knew the ac was insufficient for the residence. The house appeared very clean and well stocked if you desired to cook. We did not cook or use any dishes. I would rent this location again!

Great location, but worn down and dirty

Location was perfect, just a short walk down to the beach with the neighbourhood pool right next door. Nice house, nice furniture and colors around the house. Information on how to work everything was easy and accessible. BUT, everything in the house ,except from the bathrooms and beds, was extremely dirty. Our feet were black from dirt underneath after 5 min. of walking around the house. The carpets upstairs were filthy. There was an old press on nail on the floor upstairs along with what looked like pasta sauce. The kitchen cabinets and drawers were dirty both inside and outside. Utensils and plates looked like they were thrown into the cabinets. No matching plates cups and utensils. Pots and pans were old, bulky scraped and poorly cleaned. The inside of the refrigerator had several old food stains. Batteries were missing from several of the remote controls. Worn electrical outlets, most plugs would just fall out. The doors at the main entrance had a code lock, but was in such bad shape it could probably be easily broken into if you just pulled hard enough. The BBQ works but was dirty and beyond time for replacement. The handle to turn the shower on and off in the master bedroom was about to fall off. Every surface of the house looked dirty. If this is how beach blue properties keep up all of their properties I would not stay with them again.

The house was spotless when we arrived, though the walls were all scuffed and in need of a paint job and the carpet upstairs showed some wear.The kitchen is updated and fully stocked, almost to excess, as it was hard to find an empty spot to put our groceries. If you have more than four people dining, your dish options are limited to those that look like what my mother took to Goodwill in 1984.The bathrooms are all builder grade circa 1990 (well, everything in the house is except the kitchen), and look much more dated in person than the creatively angled photos on this site. The cabinets in the master bath were literally peeling apart. Also, the barn door on the master bath does not fully close.Most frustrating was that with a toddler, having a washer and dryer was a major criteria for us and a factor in choosing this house. While there is laundry at this house, the appliances here are disgusting, easily 30 years old and completely rusted, definitely not something I would put any clothes in that I intended to wear again! The laundry room, right off the lovely updated kitchen, felt like a bait and switch.Again, the location was perfect, but we’ll stay somewhere else next time and I’ll make note not to book another property that advertises laundry unless there’s a photo of the actual laundry room. Lesson learned!

Perfect Beach House

The house was nice and open - plenty of room to enjoy time with family. The location is close to the pool and not far from the beach. We enjoyed seating on the front porch and upstairs balconies. Would definitely stay again.

When we walked in we were stunned at how much bigger and more open it feels that’s you can tell from the pictures. The home was very clean but there were a few flaws that were annoying but not annoying enough to contact the management company and waste an entire day waiting on maintenance to come fix it. All the toilet paper holders fell off the wall the first time they were used, the master bathroom shower handle fell off as well, and most of the easily accessible wall plugs are so worn out that anything plugged in falls right back out. These were all minor annoyances but i feel as if housekeeping should have alerted the management company instead of us having to deal with the annoyances that were obviously staged so they wouldn’t be noticed right off the bat. The house was the perfect size for our family of 10 and the location was safe, quiet, and convenient. Overall it was a really good family vacation.
