Relaxation at the beach

We enjoyed our stay and loved having the golf cart to drive around. The pool was perfect for relaxation and we liked having a grill for cooking. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Great location. Heated pool was perfect for cooler days. Golf cart huge bonus getting to and from the beach. Hosts responsive for requests. Clean and fairly updated. Nice to have beach chairs/toys available. We could’ve used additional instructions for TV usage and more visible pool instruction posting.We’ll be back!

Great Vacation Spot in Destin

A group of friends and I stayed at this property for a bachelor party and had a great time. The property is clean and very close to the beach. The provided golf cart makes beach trips throughout the day easy and painless. The only thing I'd caution folks about is that there are 4 bedrooms with three beds and 1 bunk bed. The property sleeps 20 if you double up every single bed including the sleep out sofa, so just keep that in mind if you have a large group. Overall I think the property is great and would definitely return for future visits.

Enjoyed this property. Very clean and easy access to beach. Upon arrival the code we received did not work and the golf cart key had been left on so the battery was dead. These 2 items were resolved quickly after I called and spoke to rental company. Pool is much smaller than pics look but was fine for the adults just sitting in it.

Kokomo house

The house, is cute and quaint. The pool a bit small but sufficient. Bathrooms/kitchen clean and stocked. I would say the floors needed more attention to mopping and throw rugs had big spots on them. The next door house/pool needs a sound barrier for their pool system. A nice walk to easy access to the beach. For a quick 5 day stay, I would return.

Some outlets throughout the house were loose or didn’t seem to work. Kitchen seemed much smaller and needed more silverware and mixing bowls (for example)but it was a good house for our family and we enjoyed our stay overall!

The house was neat and clean, but I'll say for sure the front and porch had a lot of sand. I did spot a few red big ants from outside, which is expected because of the area.

Great location

Home was very nice. Easy walk to the beach. Porches were pretty and the golf cart was great to go check out the area. Cleaning was subpar at best. Pillows on the couch were pretty stained and the house had a musty smell when we first arrived. The pool pump was broken and the pool was filthy. The property managers were AMAZING in trying to resolve the issue from the moment I reached out to them. Although they couldn’t get the pump fixed the pool was cleaned by them and we were able to use it one day out of our 5 day stay. The beach chairs provided could use some upgrade and the outdoor furniture needs a good pressure wash.

Reviewer Comments: House needs some attention broken bedroom door, broken cabinet face on utility drawer in the kitchen dirty pots in the cabinet couch and chair stained, carpet was dirty, the pool temperature was just at 78 - if I was a college student I would not care about all this but to be there with my family it was a disappointment, however, the management was very responsive in trying to take care of some of these things, cleaning the carpet and furniture and turning up the pool heater, the cabinet drawer was repaired. The bathrooms were clean and there were ample towels. The location was great very close to a beautiful beach. I would not, however, rent this property again

It was a short walk to the beach and the neighbors were pretty quiet. The white sand beach is the cleanest I have ever seen, no shells or seaweed! We had a couple of issues with the house when we first arrived and the management staff was there within hours to fix them. (loose deck boards, closet door off hinges, broken towel bar) The house was clean except for the hallway bathroom. We had to clean the toilet because the cleaning crew didn't come back. The back porch was nice, but the floor was really dirty and the white furniture needed to be power washed. The pool was a decent size and the water was clean and warm.

Do not bet on the golf cart during your stay

I am still not satisfied that the management team has seemed to ignore my complaints with the missing golf cart during our entire stay, stating it is an amenity. This property is more expensive than comparable properties without a golf cart. I do feel like this was false advertising on behalf of your company as it is the first words in your listing. What if the pool didn’t work? Would that also just be an amenity? My mother can barely walk and we needed this for transportation. Also we had 3 small children that were so sad and disappointed. I wish the company did more to act like they cared about this matter.

A Good Choice? Depends on What You're Expecting.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the house to provide accommodations for several family members including our daughter and the man she married during the stay. When we arrived, we were disappointed due to the fact that many of the rooms were much smaller than they appeared in the VRBO site. {Wide angle lenses can make a big difference.) The house was quite clean inside, but the porches and the furniture there was dirty; a call to the rental company quickly prompted a re-cleaning of these areas, and a shampoo of the interior sofa, helping. One bench was broken but not replaced. The kitchen was well stocked, but bring dinner knives--only two are provided. Oddly, two of the baths had no dispenser for the toilet tissue roll. We paid for a heated pool, but either they forgot to turn on the heater, or it was broken. It's wassn't perfect and older than we expected, but beds were comfy and showers had good water pressure. The provided golf cart worked well and came in quite handy. House is very convenient to the beach, restaurants and shopping. If you're not picky about the age of the house and the furnishings, this is a fair accommodations pick. If you want something sleek with great outdoor furniture, opt for something else.
