    Welcome to Mama's Happy! A beautiful upscale modern beach home with 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a private pool and a 2-story guest cottage located just a block to the pristine beaches of Destin. This home has 3 different living areas providing plenty of privacy for multiple families. Featuring a Private Pool, the property has a 4-Bedroom Main House and a 2-Story, 2 Bedroom Guest Cottage.

    The home boasts a full gourmet kitchen, lots of dining seats, comfy beds, TVs in every room. The guest cottage includes a Full Kitchen in in the Upstairs living area and a Kitchenette in the downstairs living area. The pool area includes a Large Deck with plenty of chairs to enjoy the sun, an outdoor shower, large gas grill, and chaise lounges.

    Destin Commons outdoor shopping mall, with stores like Bass Pro Shop, Abercrombie & Fitch, Victoria's Secret, Talbots, Books A Million, and a 14-movie stadium seating theater, along with countless fantastic restaurants, are located just a few blocks away! Walking distance to nearly everything you could want on your vacation including Camille's Restaurant for your morning coffee. Your vacation time here is sure to be relaxing and enjoyable. Sleeps 16.

    MAIN HOUSE:
    First Floor: Light, airy living room with a 55'' Smart TV, queen sleeper sofa, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, Queen bedroom, Bunk Room (sleeps 4), full bath, and full-size washer and dryer.
    Second Floor: The master suite upstairs has a King bed, private bath with an Air Tub (you have got to try this!), double sinks, stand-up shower, TV in the bathroom, AND Smart TV in the bedroom area. The second story also has a bedroom with 2 Queen beds and beautiful wrap-around porch area with plenty of seating to enjoy your morning coffee.
    Third Floor: Loft with beautiful views of the emerald waters of the Gulf!

    GUEST HOUSE:
    First Floor: Living room with Queen sleeper sofa, flat screen Smart TV, kitchen area with coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and sink, hall bath, and king bedroom with TV. There is also a full bath.
    Second Floor: Living room with Queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, full kitchen including refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, coffee maker, sink. King Bed with Full Bath.

    Small dogs considered for an additional fee (max 2) - NOT OVER 30 lbs. each dog.

Awesome, awesome, awesome!

Clean, comfortable, roomy, beautiful, easy short walk to the beach, we'll stocked kitchen with good pots and pans. Colors are cheerful and happy and decor is inviting. Great for multiple families. Enjoyed our stay. 6 couples stayed at the house with one infant...plenty of comfortable seating. Loved this house!

What a fun week in Destin!! The house for very accommodating for our group! Plenty of kitchen supplies and seating for meals. We loved having a pool and short walk to the beach!! Great support from manager!! Hope to visit again!!

Mama's Happy home made all of us HAPPY!!!!!

We have stayed in several homes in St. George Island, Tarpon Springs and Topsail and none of them compare to Mama's Happy!!!! The location, layout of home and pool were exactly what we were looking for. Chris and Janet were very accommodating and replied to all of our questions via email within an hour. This is a great home to vacation and we look forward to returning soon!

Wonderful

Loved it! The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked with cookware. It was a short walk to the beach. The beach was clean, the waters was clear and calm, the sand was white sand. Great beach for little children to enjoy. lots of activities available for older kids and adults.

A Winter Respite!

We had a lovely winter stay at 'Mama's Happy'. The home was well decorated, comfortable, close to the beach and good restaurants. Try 790 on the Gulf, Boschamps, Chipolte and Cantina Laredo. Terrific! Janet, the Manager, was excellent to deal with. We enjoyed a peaceful stay away from the cold and snow of Canada! Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Beautiful vacation home!

We had a wonderful time here, the house is in a great location. The street is very quiet yet a short walk to the beach and very close to shopping and restaurants. The home is very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Everyone loved having the private pool. Janet was always available to answer any questions immediately. I would definitely rent this house again.

Great Home

We were extremely happy with our stay at Mamas Happy! The home had everything you could possibly need! Great pool! Accommodations were great too! We had 8 adults and 7 kids and had tons of space. Beach was a very short distance to walk! Panhandle has the most gorgeous beaches in Florida by far. Janet and Chris were great to work with. Hope to come back soon!

Mama and the rest of our crew were super Happy!

We truly enjoyed our stay. It was me and my husband, nine teenagers and our four legged baby. The proximity to the beach was awesome, the pool was perfect for a swim after the beach. We love to cook and really enjoyed the grill and the kitchen. Having shopping for our girls so close by was a win for the rainy day. The Beach House is our favorite restaurant in Destin and it was a short drive. The walk/running access to get some exercise in each day was great too. We would certainly stay here again!

Big and extremely beautiful home

We absolutely loved everything about the house and the neighborhood. The master suite is amazing We had a blast. The house was immaculate. The kids spend most of their time in the pool. We wanted to book again for the same time next year but the price has gone up tremendously and is outside of what we budget for the family trip, so maybe another year.

Great vacation

Mamma's Happy was a fabulous rental home. We had 4 families (18 people) and we had room for everyone. The home was very nice and had all the amenities we needed. It was a short walk to the beach and having the private pool was wonderful. I felt like we were in a very safe neighborhood and Janet was helpful with any needs or questions that we had. The home was also very close to restaurants, Destin Commons shopping, Big Kahuna waterpark, go carts, outlet malls, etc. It was the perfect location. We look forward to returning.

What a place!

Everything about Mama's Happy was fantastic. We had 15 people and we never felt crowded. The pool occupied the kids and adults for hours. We cooked most nights and the kitchen was set up perfectly. The beach is very close and the rental came with everything you need. Janet was extremely responsive and great to deal with. Overall, the trip could not have been better and Mama's house was a big reason why. We hope to be back next year!

Mama's Happy made Mama happy!

This place is great! The pictures do not do it justice. The decor is beautiful! The family room, dining room and kitchen have a great open concept. We had 18 people staying here in the two houses and we were all very comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and we had plenty of bath towels each day....we just had to wash them every couple of days. It was a short walk to the beach and there was a cart and plenty of beach chairs provided. We would definitely stay here again!!

The whole package!

We enjoyed this property for a long weekend with three other couples! It was amazing and everyone had their own private bedroom and bath. Every inch of the house has been updated with beautiful finishes that include a chef's quality kitchen and spa quality baths. The house is just steps from the white sandy beaches and minutes to area shopping and restaurants. We are already planning a week in the summer with our children and grandchildren.... looking forward to a dip in the pool after we return from the beach. Of course the outdoor gas grill is always a bonus, means the men can cook!

Momma's Happy Debut

This beach property was amazing! Very easy to find with ample parking. Tastefully decorated with an unique beach flair with personal touches and the comfy feeling of home. My husband & I stayed in the private cottage with a view of the inviting pool, lovely sitting area with TV, mini fridge & coffee maker. Extremely comfortable bed & TV in bedroom. Great roomy walk in shower with an awesome overhead rain shower head. Group gatherings in the main beach house were great. Wonderful kitchen & plenty of seating for everyone. Great Location! Short walk to the beach, restaurants & shopping. Many other restaurants, shopping and spas only minutes away by car. Can't wait to return!

Perfect location and super clean!

This home was the best choice we have made in a rental. It's less than a block from the beach, short walk to shopping and restaurants and we even walked to church! We literally got in our vehical once in a week and that was my goal. It was so perfect for my young kids. They lived in the pool. Adults loved it too! If we had questions, the rental agency was very prompt. The only sad part was packing up.

Mamma's Happy Review

My husband & I along with 3 other couples spent Super Bowl weekend(Jan. 31-Feb.3,2014) at "Mamma's Happy." We loved it! Every bathroom is gorgeous as well as the kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised how easy the walk was to the beach -quicker than going down an elevator at a condo. My husband & I had our morning coffee up in the "perch". We can't wait to go back with our grand kids. They will love the bunk beds. I was thrilled that Fresh Market & HomeGoods were so close by. (Not walking distance for me but a very close drive.)
