Beautiful place for vacation

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sundestin Condos. They have great access to the beach and great amenities like the pool, hot tub, splash park for the smaller kids. It is very family friendly, and it's close to lots of restaurants and activities. Would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay at Sundestin

We really enjoyed our stay. All the employees were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only recommendation would be to have teflon pans in the kitchen because the food was sticking to the stainless steel. The beach was great and hats off to Josh. He did a great job!

Destin Condo

Our stay at Sundestin was absolutely awesome! Everything was just perfect. The amenities were the best. We were never bored. Everything you could want was there. It is on the beach and the views from our condo were amazing. We loved waking up early in the morning and going on the beach to swim , do a run or my boys liking fishing off the beach. We had the best time and are looking forward to going back soon.

Unit was GREAT Amenities NOT SO MUCH

The condo was beautiful. The pool/hot tub and deck was not very maintained. The pool was overrun with teenagers who were inappropriate and party crowd who were overly intoxicated and causing a scene for all 3 days we were there. Large groups staying on the ground level with loud music taking over the pools and hot tub making it not the best place for a family/relaxation with younger kids. No property staff present outside to enforce rules. Beach was beautiful.

Condo needs a facelift

We were there 5 days on vacation with our granddaughter & her friend. They had bunk beds & loved them. The room was well equipped with everything we needed except enough towels & since they don’t offer clean ones we had to pay to wash & dry some. The sink & a/c in the closet were both leaking, they sent maintenance up but he did not fix the leaks. Furniture & decor need an update, as well as the patio furniture! The gulf view was fantastic though.

The facility as a whole is good. Everything is very clean and nice. It is a great location. The condo is pretty, and the kitchen is well stocked. There is a handy towel holder on the balcony. However, the condo as a whole is NOT very family friendly. Within 5 minutes of arriving, my daughter slipped on the tile floor and busted her head open on the glass tv stand. We ended up at the ER getting stitches before we even unpacked. Everything is glass! We have to put a towel over the tv stand and scoot it out of the way all week. We moved the coffee table behind the couch as I was worried it would break (the top is not secured on), we put all the hard decor away, and we had to buy solo cups so they kids didn't drop the glass cups on the tile floor. There also isn't a lamp in the living room anymore, making it incredible dark at night. A rug or two would not be amiss either to help with sand. Lastly, there is no storage to put things away with 3 kids. Minimal hangers to hang things in the closets and no dresser at all. The drawers on the bunks are not real drawers. Please consider a dresser. It is not fun to live in clutter of clothes all week.

Pictures matched the stay which is AMAZING because we’ve had an experience where pictures didn’t match the stay. Love that you can buy alcohol and food there. Love that there’s a little souvenir shop. 2 things- I wish there was a kiddie pool and there was a vent in the kitchen and a spot above one of the closets in the room that had dust.

Great gulf view from the 8th floor, water pressure a little low and Sundestin doesn't allow individual umbrellas but they are available for rent, get there AT LEAST 15 minutes before they open.

Nice, but not super family friendly.

Overall, the condo is nice and very clean. Has all the needed kitchen supplies, etc. its a great location, and close to everything. No complaints about the building as a whole. The unit itself is not super family friendly in the sense that everything is glass. Less than a minute after walking in, my daughter tripped and busted her head open on the corner of the glass tv stand, requiring stitches. Everything is glass! We had to move the coffee table out of the way so the kids didn’t break it, put towels over the tv stand, and buy some cups that weren’t glass (tile floor everywhere). Some additional clothing storage would be nice as well. You really need a dresser to put small things in. The bunk bed appears to have 3 drawers, but they don’t actually open. Hooks are needed in the bathrooms for towels! One towel rod and less than a dozen hangers for 6 people. Other than those minor things, we had a great time.

Ok stay!

Nice property- but couches very uncomfortable worn. The shower didn’t drIn very well-but that is always the case at a beach property. Neither vent fans were in working order in the bathrooms.

Spring break 2021

Family of 5 with a week stay. The condo was nice- it was great having full kitchen and the view was spectacular! We saw dolphins off the balcony every day- great place to have coffee or an evening cocktail. The unit could use a few small repairs. The door trim on front door kept falling off so we couldn’t use the safety lock. The front door was also missing the seal so there was a gap that wind and rain could come in- there was constant air coming in. The bathroom doors were somewhat sagging on hinges so you had to pick it up slightly to shut it. The bathroom also had switches that didnt seem to turn anything on. The bed was super comfy in bedroom- not all lights seemed to be connected to switches though. Wished the “drawers” under the bunks were functional and not decorative. We really did enjoy the stay overall- the stuff listed were pretty minimal, didn’t really interrupt our stay, and overall we would recommend this location. Beach chair/umbrella rental was $40/day or $200 for 6 days.
