Great time

I didn't know what to expect at first, had some issues at first but they fix it right away. We love the easy access to the beach. Everything around is easy acess.

In spite of the resort going through a makeover, the room was lovely, and the view was spectacular. Loved that the balcony stretched across from the large bedroom to the living room. Having 1 and 1/2 baths was really nice as well. Overall, we a wonderful time and we will definitely be back.

Everything was great. The little store in the building was a nice amenity. Rent the beach chairs/umbrella WAY ahead of time to get the first row closest to the beach. The sofa bed was not very comfortable. This mattress. We expected that so we brought a mattress topper. Overall, we had a really nice stay and in a perfect location.

Fabulous Vacation

SunDestin is a wonderful vacation resort. The Unit was completely updated and the perfect spot to watch dolphins swimming by during the day and to watch the sunset 🌅 The atmosphere is friendly. All of the staff are very helpful. Being able to stop in to pelicans roost and have a bite to eat and maybe a cocktail is definitely an added bonus. Can’t wait to return

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and the condo was nice. The only complaint I have is how long it takes for the elevator. They aren\'t very big so not many people can get on them at once especially if you have a luggage cart. So you can end up waiting awhile before you can actually get on.

Very disappointing

I was very disappointed with SunDestin. It was under construction and the noise was bad. There was a guy outside our window the entire trip. We got stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes. The door to our unit was difficult to close. There was construction dust all over the chairs on the balcony. The staff in the restaurant and the cleaning staff were rude. The food in the restaurant wasn’t good. And there was hardly any parking. I would not go back to Destin or to SunDestin.

Payment process was easy, it’s due 30 days before check in to make the process easier in my opinion. It took us less than 5 minutes to check in. Carts were easy to find to unload vehicles. Our room was very clean with a nice angle front ocean view. The gift shop had everything you could imagine. Easy walkway to the beach from the hotel. Everything was located conveniently around the hotel. 5/5 start, no complaints at all. Will definitely be planning a family trip next year!

The only thing that seem strange was it no specialty items like coffee filters, salt and pepper. Most places I have stayed at had what I would call is left overs. It was no big deal and we will be back for sure, but to me it seemed odd. Keep up the great work.

Just okay.

This place was just okay. The pictures made this condo out to be a nice place to stay, but it was not that at all. The living room furniture is stained and dirty, and extremely uncomfortable. Bedroom furniture was also very uncomfortable. The TV in the living room only works when it wants to. The amenities are advertised to have a washer/dryer, but what they failed to mention is that it’s a public washer/dryer that you pay to use. I could go on and on, but it would be too much to read. Overall, our experience was less than pleasant and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. This place is NOT what it is advertised to be and I don’t plan to stay here again.

Television Issues

The living room television set-up to get regular TV channels was a hassle. First night we tried to get it to work and all the TV would do is default to streaming. Maintenance can and got it working when we were not there so we did not see what was done. Next day we are watching it and out of the Blue got a prompt to set up "casting" to my phone. We did not know what to do so it automatically went back to streaming service. has security come up and show us what was done and he unplugged a cable in addition to resetting the input. That worked but every time we turned off the TV and turned it back on in went back to streaming and the remote would not work. I had to go to the back of the TV and select the input source manually and set it back at HDMI 1 every time. Something about the set-up is wrong and we spoke to another guest having the same issue. This really should be checked out. Annoying.
