「We absolutely loved our stay here, we were looking foward to a nice peaceful long weekend and this cottage provided just that. The kids loved having there own rooms as they usually have to share a room when we go away. My son had hours of enjoyment using the extra large box of lego to not only play with but also to do his stop motion videos. 「We had an enjoyable stay in the cottage. There is a lot of useful information material, but some information was outdated (WiFi password, name and number of the local manager, number of the proprietor). This made it difficult to contact manager or proprietor when we encountered a problem. Once contact was established, the problem was resolved smoothly. There is a nice 8 km walk starting from the cottage, the finest part of which is a stretch of coastline that is only accessible at low tide....

「This house was ideal for us to stay in County Mayo as a base to explore the area. It is just 10 mins from the Town of Ballina and only a short drive to the coast. The cottage contained most things we needed and instructions from the property manager we’re clear and accurate. It was great to be able to self cater as if at home. We would stay again if in the area.」

The beds were SO comfortable and the separate bathrooms for each bedroom were a real bonus. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...

「We spent three nights here and really enjoyed our time. The apartment was clean and checking in and out was a breeze. The location is walkable to a lot of restaurants and is just a short walk to the Latin Quarter. There is also a small Tesco just up the street. 「We had a lovely stay at the Swallow Loft. It is a very unique property perfectly close to Galway’s city center. Peggy was very responsive especially with the issue with the humidity level we were experiencing in the place. I think this place is best for 2 people as the bedroom/bathroom at the lower level smelled a little musty. The overall cleaning looked ok but not fresh.」
