“It should be noted this is an apartment complex. There is a front desk but were dismissive when I mentioned the fact my room was not ready. The management company who rents units out for travelers is different from the company who owns and operates the building. When I arrived, the maid had no idea the unit was being rented out that day, so I had to wait 45 minutes beyond the advertised check-in time. As I communicated the issue with the management company via text, I couldn't tell if I was……

“It was what was lacking from the listing that was the problem-- there were 20 sketchy steps from the sidewalk to the front door. Those were not mentioned. We're 81 and 78. Stairs in general are things we try to avoid, but these were covered with leaves, ivy encroaching on the lowest set and with ridiculously low hand rails. Since there's no off-street parking, using the scary stairs was mandatory. The house was fine, but getting in and out was not.”

“Great downtown apartment concept. Clean simple two bedroom arrangement was perfect fo me out stay. Immaculate. Will definitely look up Cozy Suites again in other locations.”

“The large 3 bedroom apartment worked under our circumstances but there were many problems. Getting access to the building on the day of arrival was tedious and took almost 45 minutes--the access codes did not work, and calling for assistance took many tries. And late in our weeklong stay, we started receiving messages about NOISE complaints which was NOT us! Too many calls and messages about this, very annoying. The apartment was in the basement and the three small windows really didn't help……

“Check in was a nightmare. Parking garage has a short in the keypad. You pay for parking and have to be routed through multiple building to reach your actual apartment. There are zero signs in the parking area to navigate the property and no one but an 800# to ask for help. We paid for non refundable room and still left early! No price on peace of mind. No toddler friendly bars out the front door.”

“The host was unfriendly and targeting. After receiving paid confirmation, the host called and inquired on the reason for stay and adamantly referred to the community as “protected” with closely monitored noise ordinances. Mind you, the apartment is directly across for the stadium. The area is riddled with the homeless population. Another conversation centered around “no parties” allowed and strict guest limits. “This hotel should be condemned! Mold, roaches, and funky smells should be the only words in the description! Staff is rude and lazy. Floors were sticky, big bubbles in paint(water damage), carpets are nasty. I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! They tried to say I had been smoking in a room. The same room that made me feel deathly ill. It smelled like rotting death after the bleach they used to cover it up stopped working. NEVER STAY HERE!!!”

“Was expecting a normal sized microwave, one of the shades was broken, low water pressure, body wash was out, more storage to hang up clothes. It was a very good deal and we did enjoy our stay.”
