“A bijou property that was originally a bridge house with views across the canal. There is heat which was needed as cold this week. Unfortunately there is traffic noise. There is no sink in bathroom but we squeezed the shower gel to cover our hands and then washed our hands in the bedroom sink. There are cupboards for clothes and cups, plates, cutlery and hairdryer. Die japanisch angehauchte minimalistische Gestaltung des Raums hat uns gut gefallen. Das kleine Bad ist gleichzeitig Kaffeeküche, sehr durchdacht und funktionierte einwandfrei. Trotz der niedrigen Außentemperaturen war es im Haus selbst schön……

There are also grocery stories a few blocks away if you want to eat in. The host was extremely helpful with tips and helping us book a taxi. The rooms are in the basement so you don’t hear any street noise from near by bars. The stairs are abit steep as they are in all Amsterdam homes so this wouldn’t be well suited for someone……
