"First location. For me the location is perfect. Small side street that is so quiet, you can't believe you are in a city. Close to temples, shopping and restaurants that are literally one minute away. When you get the code and enter the building it has this quirky charm that makes it so appealing. The room/unit was huge, at least he one that I stayed in. Beautiful wood and tatami matted rooms, full kitchen, separate bathroom and shower. Great futons to sleep on. A true Japanese experience. "Good location in downtown Nagasaki - alley cats fighting at night and making a ton of noise will keep light sleepers awake though. Property was a little snug and bathroom could use better ventilation. "

"Stayed one night with four people and it was very nice. The room condition was amazing and everything was very well kept and clean. The bathroom was very nice. Check in went somewhat smoothly. They could’ve sent me the check in info a bit earlier as I had to message them to get it, but they replied within the hour with the instructions. All in all, I believe it is worth the money, it’s not anything super extravagant but it’s a nice hotel."

"I did not receive any information regarding security and room codes from the hotel. I finally called the listed number and the information was given. People were nice but it was a lengthy confusing process. The property is very nice but there were too many glitches in getting into the room itself."

"It was amazing, convenient, and perfect for what I needed. Surprised there was no tub. A bit troublesome to get in the door to check in. An email was sent a day or two before my stay. Lucky for me I had my son who was studying abroad locally to share his hot spot so I could access my email, AND his girlfriend who is local and could translate the email which was entirely written in Japanese. Not great for a foreign traveler. "

A few issues. 1) They had to be nudged to send me the check-in instruction. 2) The windows have no views as they are placed right in front of the neighbors’ walls. 3) The AC in the den was not working.
