“Stayed in 2303. Great view of Ocean and beautiful apartment. Pool and hot tub good. Not a bad drive back to Kona for activities and quiet at apartment. Swam at Kahalu’u both days which is fantastic to see fish and turtles ”

“Sea village was beautiful. We had a great view from the patio and even though the apartment didn't have air-conditioning, it was comfortable. Only thing missing was a beach. ”

“The ocean was not visible from our room, but the 11th fairway of the Kona Country Club was. We did visit the pool that was by the ocean and it was wonderful! We enjoyed the waves crashing on the rocks and spraying us with ocean spray. Every staff member was friendly, informed and helpful!”

“Everything was pretty good. The only issue that I had was that the place smelled like old cigarettes or cigars musty smell.”

“Great location. Easy walk into the heart of Ali'i Dr. shops and restaurants. Nice room, had everything we needed. Elevator wasn't working, didn't bother us as we were on a lower floor, but those above us didn't have it so easy. We were told the "parts were on order". Hot tub by pool also wasn't working, were going to call in someone to "look at it". Pool was perfect. Would definitely return. Beautiful scenery. ”

“We had a very enjoyable week here. There was plenty of space for our crew of 12 (ages 10 months to 73). We would definitely rent again.”

“We did not stay as planned. My wife had an emergency appendectomy on Friday afternoon and we did not make it to Kona. The owner had contacted me earlier with instructions and i replied to him that we had to cancel due to the medical emergency. I am waiting to see if i will get a refund from the owner as the cancellation was not in accordance to the cancellation guidelines. ”

“Wonderful location, close to the airport, and shopping centers. Pool was a plus on those hot evenings. The sunrises and sunsets were magical from the lanai. ”

“It was very nice. We had an issue with the WiFi and were there within 10min to fix. They everything you would need for your stay. ”

“Beautiful condo with all the comforts and conveniences we needed! Nice touches like beach towels, beach chairs, dedicated parking spot, and a pool. Close to shopping, Kona shopping, great restaurants! Host Helen was very communicative and welcoming. Highly recommend!”

“The Promise Tree provided wonderful space for our family to spend time together while giving everyone their own space. The property has the feel of a lived in family home with all of the extras (beach chairs and umbrellas, coolers, water and yard toys, indoor and outdoor dishes) that you don’t often find at a VRBO. The onsite pool and ripe papayas were a huge hit with the kids. The location was perfect for heading down to the beaches and shopping or up to a little town and coffee farms. Be sure……

“The house was absolutely amazing. All ten of us had plenty of space. The view was stunning. The only thing I can say that was misleading was the references to proximity to locations in Kailua- Kona in the listing. It turns out we much preferred it’s true location up the hill away from the bustle of town. It was so beautiful. I am glad it was not a short walk to Taco Bell as stated in the listing.”
