“This was DEFINITELY a cabin in the woods! It was so peaceful out there; heard nothing but chirping birds, crickets, and frogs. We even saw 3 deer just outside of the cabin one morning! We had our own "welcoming committee," a solid gray cat we referred to as Dorian. The cabin was clean inside, but could have used a sweep or two out on the back patio, but it's in the middle of the woods, we didn't expect anything to be immaculate out there. The inside was very clean. A bit of advice if you rent……

“Excellent! Kitchen has everything you need, plus a nice coffee machine, and coffee pods. House was very clean with the at the home feel. So many extra accessories, a sweet thoughtful welcome basket of treats, I would definitely recommend this cute place. The owners are super nice and so thoughtful! ”

“Beautiful view and a very nice property. We had a very nice time and the weather was perfect! ”

“Our host was quick to respond and very easy to get in touch with. The house had everything that we needed and more, which wasn’t even mentioned. The back porch was amazing as was the 2 story pier. The location was also top notch as the only boat launch, convenient store, and restaurants for miles around was just a minute away. Also, to make things easier on us, we just paid to park our boat trailer at the launch during our stay. Our family can’t wait to go back! ”

“Great house in quiet neighborhood close to many Baton Rouge attractions and dining options walking distance. House has many amenities like fully equipped kitchen, toiletries and even robes! Would recommend. The posting is incorrect though in terms of beds and bathrooms so I requested host to update. ”

“Really enjoyed our stay, will return soon.”

“If you’re looking for a camp for a fishing or hunting trip this place is perfect. The host met us at the camp upon arrival/check-in to make sure we knew where everything was and to introduce us to the property. All neighbors from neighboring camps were welcoming and came by to visit and introduce themselves! They gave tips for hunting and fishing spots around the area. “This property is in a great location for shows at The River Center. We were able to walk, and we felt safe doing so. The property was clean and had everything we needed. I wish we would have booked it a second night, because it is also a perfect location for returning to after Tiger Tailgating. The hosts were very friendly and informative. “Wonderful stay! The property is in a perfect location, close to LSU as well as plenty of shops and restaurants. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. “Great kitchen with all appliances but also staples like flour and other supplies for use in cooking/baking. I liked the windowless bedroom, cabinets were plentiful and well-stocked in kitchen, everything was very clean and enough towels. Toilet worked better when I poured additional water into tank. First time stay at place with no front desk. Remote person could have better explained timing of providing needed entry code. Only complaint.”

“Perfect weekend getaway! My family had the best time staying at Twin Cypress this weekend. You cannot beat the beautiful view from the large living room windows. There was plenty of space and plenty of comfortable sleeping. The downstairs patio area was perfect to sit in the shade and watch the kids swim. We will definitely be staying here again! ”
