Appreciated: ramp to front door; fenced yard, front and back; easy access to shower for those with mobility challenges (not in a wheelchair); overall cleanliness and essential kitchen supplies. Gracie, the dog, discovered the bean bag chair and made that “hers” during our stay! We look forward to trying the complementary honey! In general, Mitchell has experienced the ravages of time, but this home - and the Tiger Town Brewery - are exemplary exceptions. "

"We spent 3 nights in the cabin. It is located on a farm on the John Day River. The cabin is roomy, with comfortable furniture to include a very comfortable bed - my key need for any place to stay. Everything you need is included. The owners are really nice and were great to talk to. They have 3 wonderful dogs. It was the best VRBO place that we have ever stayed in. I highly recommend it."

"Beautiful setting, welcoming staff, great breakfast, and all amenities thoughtfully supplied. The only thing that was not perfect for our party of three seniors and a son was that the private bathroom for our upper floor suite was on the lower floor and was accessed by passing through one of the upstairs bedrooms, and down a flight of stairs and the downstairs common room. However, the description did note bedrooms upstairs and bathroom upstairs, so it was my fault in not noticing this before I made the reservation. Everything else was perfect."
