Beautifully decorated historic home with paintings and antiques. The room that we occupied , however needed bedside tables and reading lamps. A second comfortable chair would also be nice in order to watch the TV. Grounds were gorgeous and impecably maintained. The cooked to order breakfasts were outstanding. Dinner is available only on Friday evenings. The meal I had was one of the best I have ever had.

Considering it is an old plantation, it was a most enjoyable stay. Our room, King, was very large, large bathroom, shower was excellent, quiet, very polite staff, and just very cordial environment. We spent the week. Most nights we purchased our food from River Road Cafe and came back to the executive room to eat. I am originally from St Charles Parish and most evenings I had Cajun food. The room has a small refrigerator where we stored our wine and water. The room had plenty of water. The AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was included and we were pleased with the freshness of the ingredients. We have to go "home" three for four times a year and this is where we stay. My brother stays here also. You won't be disappointed. Staff are all very polite, friendly, and helpful.

This is a really nice establishment, even though it is not like a traditional hotel, they are very warm and inviting, I feel like they think of small details to make guests feel welcome and they have nice touches for comfort. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to have breakfast because I had to leave early but next time I would like to stay and try the bed-and-breakfast

We stayed one night and it was one of our favorite places we stayed during our road trip across Louisiana. The room was beautiful and spacious. We arrived in the evening and a lock box with our key was easily accessible. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff in the morning were fun to talk to. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
