「Arrived at the property and called to check in. Was told that property was closed for refurbishment and I had to go to a different property managed by them 15 minutes away. Got there and room was minimal and bare. Host was nice but it wasn’t an aparthotel as the original one was advertised as. I left and booked a night at a local Travelodge instead. 」

「Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. 「Hidden gem is just that a hidden gem, it's location is easily walkable to the shops, restaurants, pub, the beach and much more. It's quiet enough with maybe a little noise from passing traffic, it's compact but comes with enough space for what you need and I couldn't have asked for a better host, communication was brilliant and she was happy to help with any issues I may have had. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near the seaside.」

「I needed immediate help when the sat sav dumped me nearby & my host talked me all the way to the front door which was a huge relief. The accommodation is dated but I knew that from the photos it was very clean though & i was surprised to find all the essentials had ben left. I wasn’t expecting that so had brought it all with me. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was lovely & the washing machine was handy. The area was very noisy though as it is right in town above a bar & I was there at...

「We gas the first morning had till 11 am to have a hot drink. When hot water is on the boiler is very noisy. The bathroom was too narrow and the towel hooks stcking out did not help. The oven did not smell right when lit and we did not use it. 」
