「As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Brad who offered to carry my bags and explained a lot of information about the local area, and said if I needed anything to just let him know. The building is easily accessible from the car park with the use of a key card which allows you to come and go at all hours. 「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」

「位置方便，距離市中心和Exeter Central 火車站幾分鐘步行路程。距離Exeter大學步行20多分鐘。英式早餐不錯，酒店員工態度也不錯。晚上附近比較安靜，床有些軟，會清楚聽到樓上住客的腳步聲。但是住在此酒店都是非常不錯的選擇。」

「The bar area was stylish and welcoming with a warming fire. The staff were friendly and accommodating which gave a relaxed atmosphere. Food was great (1 Sunday roast and 2 steaks) and reasonably priced. We had a 1 night stay in a courtyard room which was a good size and perfect as we had a dog with us. A decent breakfast set us up for the next day. Highly recommend.」

「Stayed again and loved it. An owner who is truly happy for you to be staying in her hotel. Cup of tea on arrival....where else would you get service like that? Nice rooms with a mix of modern and retro. Will stay again next year....lovely place owned by a lovely lady.」
