「We enjoyed this beautiful historic home with all the updated amenities. We especially enjoyed watching a family of foxes out the kitchen window in the early mornings and evenings. The kitchen area was easy and spacious. If you can walk hills, you'll love walking to and from downtown Galena.」

「The home is nicely furnished. I like that people are able to leave Seasonings and condiments, etc. for the next guests to use. Made meal prep easier. There’s pots and pans and some storage containers for leftovers. We left a bundle of Gatorade’s, Hopefully the next people will enjoy them. It’s on a busy road. Appreciate using the driveway and bringing in luggage through the back door. They allow pets which we would like to bring our dog. Hopefully soon they will have a fenced area. We didn’t use...

「My family and I stayed for a wedding at Ashton Hill Farm. It was a great place for our family to hang out. Had everything we needed, very nicely decorated and comfortable. We had our dog with us and the doggie touches were nice and appreciated. Great backyard although we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we wanted to. Would definitely stay there again and hope that we do.」

One thing I didn’t understand from the listing is that the bottom floor of this home is empty currently. also didn’t understand that the bathroom would be in the hallway and not enclosed in the two room and sitting area suite. Place was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. You can walk to town in 12 minutes and we enjoyed our stay.」

「My brother who is about 160 pounds sat on a kitchen table chair and it collapsed under him. One leg was broken on the chair. Thank goodness my brother caught himself on the way down. Also the left handle on the porch door is broken and kept falling to the floor. We fixed it best we could but the screw is stripped. The ants are so bad they carried the food away I know this is in the woods but so is our home and we do not have ants」

「The location was Great, GPS off a lil bit. There was a messy tree that our shoes dragged little buds in all the time. The key box was a little hard to open. The pool was not used because we couldn't figure out what or where to go. There are a lot of stairs. It is on three different floors. Missing was a home feeling. Little touches that make it feel personal. The beds were comfortable.」
