"If you plan on staying in an old, rural pub with ocean access, you will like this. Beware it is rugged with narrow streets, but the staff are better than any 5 star!!!"

If a restful holiday is part of your travel plans, Sandy Bay Beach might be the perfect place to visit during your trip to Castlegregory. While you're in the area, stroll along the seaside.
Rugged cliffs and sandy beaches beckon along the scenic Slea Head Drive, where ancient stone forts stand sentinel. In Dingle town, colourful pubs come alive with traditional music sessions and fresh-caught seafood tempts at harbourside restaurants.
"A quaint old-fashioned-- in good ways-- hotel. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Nice that they have an onsite restaurant, bar and very large breakfast room -- complete with a nice hot breakfast (that even includes Bailey's 😁). And a lift/elevator. Only 2 complaints: 1). One must either drive or take a taxi into town-- no public transportation close by and (2) No A/C or fans. Overall, though, a lovely place to stay."
