Well appointed accommodation with plenty of space for everyone. A kitchen that’s as well equiped as your kitchen at home. Perfectly positioned in the village. A very comfortable stay.

Echo Base was the perfect accommodation for two families to share, while enjoying the snow for the first time. Jessica is a wonderful host who responds very quickly to any questions. We cannot wait to return to Echo Base and Dinner Plain in the future.

Stayed with mine and my sisters family, house sleeps 10 comfortably, away from everything, kicked back and played games and chilled, went for long and short hikes. Well equipped kitchen, kept us all well fed. Quite far from the shops so bring everything you might need.

Property was very clean ,had everything you needed as a family.The communication in lead up to stay was first class..perfect host! The cabin is not far from Mt hotham.We were so fortunate to have a whole night of snowfall that transformed the location into a winter wonderland. Will definitely be back!!

We love the house, nice, clean , heaps of kitchen accessories to use . Jessica ( the house hosted) was very helpful and responded to our email very quick, thanks Jessica. We looked forward to staying in the house again next year.

ECHO BASE was a lovely chalet that was perfect for our family of 5 adults & 5 kids. The Fireplace got a workout and the heating through the whole house was so good. 2 showers & toilets were a bonus and the 3 levels allowed us to have our own space. Jess the manager was great to deal with answered my calls every time. Will definately be back xx

Previous reviews have been glowing for this property, and we're happy to report it was even better than we expected. The layout is great, it's perfectly set up with everything you need... We brought our own slow cooker to find there were 2 there already! Great location, great communication and a perfect place to stay while skiing at Mt Hotham. We'll certainly recommend to others.

The location was just what we were after, low key break to relax, go for walks and read books. The house was big enough for a large group of people to have their own space, and was well supplied with kitchen utensils which was great as we cooked a lot. We hadn’t been to Dinner Plain or Hotham previously so we were not aware that it is difficult to buy provisions, even basic items are difficult to get, eg butter and fresh milk. There is a supermarket but not operating at present, this was at Easter. Hopefully it will have an operator soon. We really enjoyed our stay.

Echo Base located in a very convenient place. Close to bus stop, toboggan slope, shopping Center ect. The house is not cold at all even without heaters. Kitchen is full of all the utensils. Remember there are 4-5 toboggans for you to use which is not mentioned in the house description. Beds are comfortable and new. I love the place and the host replies you promptly for all your questions.

The moment we entered Dinner Plain, it was surrounded by fog and was looking like a fairy tale place. We loved our stay and enjoyed everything. The only negative bit was that WiFi was not activated for some reason that gave us a bit of trouble but I would still give 5 stars... :)
