"The location was excellent, really close to the beach, bars, restaurants, museums, casino, marina and castle!! The room was modern, spacious, exceptionally clean, good air con, and well presented. The hot tub was a great addition and a really good size! Only draw back was a little noisy at night, but not the fault of accommodation, a small price to pay for the perfect location. Would definitely recommend and would happily return for another holiday! "

"Worst experience ever - the room smells mouldy and me and my wife felt suffocated just from staying there for 1 hr. We tried everything, opened windows and vented for a long time but the smell keeps coming back. Note that this was the «deluxe» room! I immediately booked a new hotel and moved for fear of our health. As the contact guy(Carlos) said he didn’t have other rooms available and couldn’t come over to help us. I have saved the entire conversation. We filed for refund later, they lied...

"Great location, but very busy and impersonal. Pool area too small for volume of guests. Reception keep strictly to the 4pm check in resulting in long queues forming by 3.50pm of guests waiting for their keys. I stayed one night, the room was lovely with nice touches and the restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. I would book again for a short break, accepting you can't sit by the pool etc."

"This is a very nice, clean suite in an idyllic location, friendly staff when you see them and that’s all the positive I can say. For a “Curio Hilton”, the standards were certainly not up to par. The only other high amenity brand hotel was part of a huge resort and as I was solo traveling, I thought at the least this hotel would be the cozy setting I needed and even opted for the largest suite. I got more cozy than anticipated: the lobby is absolutely TINY, the front desk staff member was not there 70% of the time I walked through the front door. There are steps up to the elevator which is also TINY, with no bellman. The security is also abismal, no card necessary to get up in the elevator though there is a card reader- so I felt very unsafe as a solo female traveler (especially when every window in the room says to lock upon on exit— I even locked them while sleeping!). No bar, no proper room service. There are: white, red or cava by the bottle for 20€ but the reception couldn’t tell me where they were from or what kind… Towels and robes absolutely require a refresh, everything was fraying or had holes, the walls are thin, the carpets and hallways smell of body odor and damp…but again, it was fine because the suite itself was spotless. Old plumbing in the building means the smell of sewage comes up through the drains, so keep them closed… Simply overpriced for what should have been categorized as a 3 star hotel"
