“Hotel is right in the middle of town and easy to find. Fronts on the city center - location is great. Parking is in an abandoned building behind the hotel - rather scruffy. We had the apartment on the third floor - large, but old - hotel probably dates from 1950s (or 30s?), with no obvious renovations. Dormer windows. No air conditioning. Elevator went to 2'nd floor and then we walked up one more flight. Desk clerk at checkin was very friendly and helpful. The woman working when we……

“Close to town centre and main attractions. Comfortable room with great views of mariane Horan. Unfortunately road works outside front entrance made for difficult access. No wifi on 3rd floor.”

“Almost everything in the room is with wood furniture. It’s clean, quiet and comfortable with beautiful Mountain View. It’s also close to the train station with 10 minutes walk. The staff is very helpful and speak good English. The bathroom is too dark.”

“The receptionist was very welcoming and gave us useful information about walks and transport. The room was compact, and the bathroom a little dated but city was all clean. Even in summer air conditioning was not needed. Free parking and easy walk to restaurants and the train station is 2 minutes walk away. From there you can travel using a day ticket for €7 to any of the stops the High Tatras network. Breakfast was fresh, but quite a lot of meat and egg dishes. Only issue was that we requested……

“The hotel is clean, the aqua park is amazing, staff are friendly. Food is average. The main problem is the air conditioning, which is centrally controlled, making the thermostat in the room a bit useless and always leaving the room a bit warm.”
